  • My C5 order was abysmal, made £12.82 in commission
C6 not looking much better, have about 20 more houses to drop to tonight, and collect on Monday before submitting my order, am only up to £80ish so far. Did get one new customer last night though, only £2.50 order but it all helps.

  • Hi I'd like to introduce myself, I'm new to this board, I usually lurk in comps! :hello:

I've been an Avon rep for a few months and last week started as a Sales Leader too. I do Avon in addition to my business, which I also run from home.

I'm running a campaign behind at the moment and have just prepared all my C6 brochures to take out. I'm hoping to skip a campaign for one half of my territory and then use the current campaign for half and back order for the other half. I'm sure you've mentioned it on here, but this is so I can get the maximum use out of my brochures and to reduce the amount of time I'm out delivering and collecting books.

My Sales Leadership is going well so far and I'm busy building my team. My own Sales Leader is lovely and has been very supportive, I'm very lucky.

I'm now off to read through this thread and pick up on some of your wonderful hints! :j
Thank you so much to everyone who post & help with comps! :j

Hiya!!!:T Definately a good idea to half of your round on each book to make the best use of them - also allows you to make extra pennies/get freebies for yourself with clever ordering:p

Good luck reading through all the posts - I did it myself but then it was only on about 140 pages lol :rotfl:

  • I haven't actually started to read through yet! :D

Lozza I see from your signature that you had a really good order value for C5 and C6...did Avon ask for half the money up front? I know this is something my own SL has mentioned to me, but I've not had orders above 350 yet so don't know if there is actually a specific point where they ask for half the money. That aside - well done! :T

Nope never had to pay anything up front, my very first order (for C4) was probably £345 ish, and then you can see other ones - presumably I have a high credit limit?!?!?! I know someone said on a previous post (quite a way back lol) that Avon have a scoring system, I answered yes to having a mortgage & credit cards (never missed any payments) so I guess that might have helped? Who knows lol!!! Thanks though, I was so surprised at how easy it is to get orders! People very keen on Avon around where I live which is great news :D

How many campaigns have you done so far?

Welcome to the madhouse LuckySeven

Aaaargh! Looking through some C6 brochures today ready to put them out on the back order area, I discovered an order I had missed. As it was for £21.50 I decided it was worth putting it in as an additional, but guess what - the Antique PJ's are sold out, reducing it to £13.50.

As if that weren't enough, I also did a 'mystery gift if order is over £20' so I'll have to give her a gift too (not fair to withhold it because an item was out of stock). Oh well, she orders on a fairly regular basis, so I'll regard it as a loss leader  I now have to ring and tell her that one of my boxes has been held up :p

One of the streets I have there is 2 reps living on it! A couple of the houses (immediate neighbours) order from one of the reps, but still had lots of orders from other people even in the nearby houses to the reps! So - it could still be that the street is yours! Double check with your asm to make sure though.
