i need some advice.i was signed up a couple of weeks ago and my SL is in 'training' and hasn't yet sent in the agreement form/doesn't have books.i had to contact my ASM recently to ask about books and she said i shouldn't have foned her but to contact my upline.the SL who signed up my SL gave me some books and i didn't ask anymore questions.i'm now in a position where i need to know just WHO i should be asking?

    cheers

Hi, bear with me and I'll try to answer your question the best I can! I started as a SL last week and I'm still in training. I have now signed-up a few reps for my team. For each one, I filled in the green agreement form and sent it off to Avon the same day - apart from the first one because my SL said I needed to wait until I was 'tagged' as a SL. This only took 24 hours, therefore I sent off the first form two days after signing up my first rep. Therefore, I don't see why your SL hasn't sent in your form yet, if you were signed up two weeks ago.

Secondly, my SL is providing all the brochures for the first two campaigns for all my new reps. This is because I am in training. The SL for your SL should have also provided the books for you.

In answer to your question...your SL (the trainee) should be your first point of contact. If there is anything she is unsure about (as she's still training), then she should ask her own SL. The support should always be there for you.

I hope this helps! I think it's worth saying that my SL is fantastic and is very supportive, so I've got off to a flying start. It might be that your SL doesn't have the same level of support as I do, which is where the confusion is coming from. Although she should have sent off the sign-up form by now.

    Good luck with everything!

I've been round today to deliver my orders plus a load of brochures! It was hard work all in one go but I'm pleased I got it done! :D
Thank you so much to everyone who post & help with comps! :j

And that amount can include Demo/Net/Fixed Comm items, though obviously you won't get the 21/25% on those.

Im having a 'moment' and cannot for the life of me find details of how to enter for the free samples (it was advertised with the car, 3 extra customers thing)
ive looked through my c6 invoice about 3 times now lol..
am i looking at the wrong invoice or something

The details of how to send your email for the free samples should be on the letter that came with your c6 invoice.

It's under something like 'Sales Incentives' I think (too lazy to go downstairs and check, but you should be able to find it on there). Basically, you just have to tell them how you used your new style brochure to get new customers. However, to get your samples you must put your account number in the subject line.

i've got it down on a leaflet that if you get above the higher order value (HOV) that it's 30%.i'm doing surprising well for my first campaign (7)-£179 with only 13 customers orders up to now.i didn't think i'd sell that much

Don't get too excited :D The 30% figure is a bit misleading, as it includes the VAT (no, I don't know how it works :p )

The actual commission figure you'll receive on an order over £178 is 25%. Sounds like you're doing brilliantly though

cheers-it IS very misleading.order doesn't go in until Tuesday so still collecting.i haven't counted how many books i have put out mind you.any tips what i can do for campaign 8 as i can't assume i'll get orders from these customers and although lots of people have said they'll have a book next time i'll have loads of books from this campaign but no houses to put them thru.i would've liked some of the previous campaign when i started but that didn't happen-i do have 5 now which have gone out but it's a bit late.how do you work out how many books to buy? i've 20 of campaign 8 but i know that won't be enough.it's been maybe 10 years since i last did avon

Not sure I'm the best person to ask :D

However, I've come to the conclusion that people will buy or they won't, and that they aren't much influenced by 'sales incentives'. Having said that, I think it helps to be reliable (probably the most important thing), and I do try to keep them guessing by doing 'mystery gift over £20' one time, giving a perfume or other sample another, and so on. I figure that they're more likely to at least look if they don't know what to expect each time!

I buy 85 brochures for around 140 houses + a small number of F&F, if that helps.

I'm probably due a duff campaign this time round, as I've done really well since Christmas
