im not sure about anyone else but since just before christmas my sales have really hit an all time low even for this time of year it normally starts to pick up but ive got hardley any orders and have my area manager telling me to keep recanvassing which i have been doing for the last 3 months with no extra orders though just lots of extra work.Does anyone have any idea how i can up my sales i.e offers as ive done samples and tried out the spend so and so get a free gift but any other ideas or help would be gratefully recieved,have tried searching all of this thread but its soooo long now

Got my delivery and for the second time they have sent me small bags instead of mini bags!

Hi everyone

I've picked up the books that were left out for me and will go back later this evening when more people are in to collect the rest.

I've had 8 orders though :j and have still got a lot to pick up tonight (around 50-60). My total on customer orders is now £170.30 .

Hopefully I will get some more this evening.

Hi all, :hello:

Dropped off about 29 books last week and went back to pick up last thursday. Only got 13 books back and 1 order. posted reminders to the rest of the houses and got back another 3 books and 2 more orders. 3 orders total about £33 so not too bad.

13 books "munched" (lol) though. Did not have time to knock today to try to get back. Re delivered the returned 16 quickly before leaving for work and collecting back on Thurs. Hopefully will get a few more orders and the majority of the books back. Removing the munched addresses off my list for a bit and will recanvas after my hols.

Gah am supposed to deliver c7 books tonight. I put on a sticky note I will collect wednesday pm but do u think 2 nights is long enough to give them???

cant believe my luck today having rung my asm and emailed her never got a replay got a letter of my new asm nice to be told:rolleyes: so give her a ring and she rang back straight away:j explained had no joy recanversing two new roads and my sales gone really down for some reason she has give me 4 extra roads dont no yet how many houses but i guess a lot has any one any thoughts should i just post books or would it be a good idea to knock at doors and ask if theyd like a book with being so many new streets dont want to loose to many books

I only tend to give people 2 days, tried giving people 4 days once and struggled getting the books back & no extra orders - I think it was too long for people to remember to leave them out! Most people will probably look straight away if they want anything, and some people will ask if they want longer.

I'd say beware knocking to ask at the outset as I had a number of people say no at that stage, but when I put books through anyway a few months later, a number of them ordered. If the book is in front of them they may be tempted

You can always put a tick box for them to indicate if they don't want any more books.

What I did when I was given new streets was used my old books to start canvassing them, that way it doesn't matter too much if you loose them - and just do as many extra houses each campaign as you can manage, you will know which houses not to go to again (the ones who ask not to get one again, and those you never get the book back from).

even my mum doesn't want anything this time as she cant afford it i give her a book on mothers day and my sister

my sister only wants the avon care lipgloss/balm thing in c6 it's £2 in c7 it's £4 i think? but i will sell at the cheaper price to her.

I cant wait to try the new powder foundtion compacts in hello magazine.

I think this time it will be a bad camp how much commision will i get if my orders £150?
i'm not buying any books or anything as i#v stocked up on books and bags.
