    Hello

Has anyone paid their Avon bill via the post office with either cash or a cheque? How does this work, i know that there is a section where you have to put in some sort of reference number. Do you have to leave it a few days before you can input it as paid so that it has chance to clear/ register with Avon.

Also what happens if it is a cheque as this adds more time to the process.

I will prob always just pay online but would like to know should i need it

    Thank

ive paid at post office a few times if i cant get in to town to pay at bank you still have to had 50 pence charge but ive not had problems and it clears quick you just have to put ref number in when submit your order and it clears amount but ive only done it with cash not cheques i never pay on line
always at bank or post office sometimes i only pay it friday and its cleared
    mon when submited order .

Finally getting around to sorting out my receipts I'm saving & my invoices in order that it will save a bit of time when I eventually have to do a tax return - I'm assuming anything I buy from Avon that isn't for a customer is classed as costs - like the books, any demo products, anything I buy to give people for freebies, & any samples?

If so it's great as it looks on paper as if I haven't made very much lol as I've classed in costs anything I have bought for myself etc - if the tax man asked I'd say that I showed it to customers and therefore needed to buy it in order to demonstrate how great Avon products are!

Thanks for the advice guys :D I think I will be crossing some of the book munching offenders off my list for C7. Why they can't just leave the books out I will never know. It is just plain rude!! haha Yay it will be much easier to cover all my territory each campaign!! :j

I have got one house that leaves the book outside but steals the bag it was in!! I'm not redoing that house EVER again as a matter of principle!! :rotfl:

That's terrible! how cheap, there's moneysaving and there's just being petty...
I had one book where they'd let the dog wee on it, and one which I only realised had cat wee on once i had it in my hand...ARGH.... luckily I always have baby wipes with me!

    I'm pleased cos I got 186 quid worth of orders on my first go at a new territory where the rep had apparently been unreliable, I'm quite chuffed with the note I made to go in with the books, and as I got about half of my books back I can reuse them after a bit of ironing! This is what I put in the note, in a large font for potential customers with poorer vision;

    Hi everyone

My mum's friend placed an order today so I am now up to £56.60 worth of orders. I've got just over 100 books to pick up tomorrow so fingers crossed I get some more orders. I would love to get to £250 but we shall wait and see.

 What on earth is happening with Avon these days?

First of all they go out of stock of essentials like samples, paper & carrier bags etc., and now the invoices are appearing online about 3 days later than they used to. Mine used to be available on the Saturday morning before my delivery on the following Wednesday, giving me plenty of time to see what was out of stock and identify any problems. Now they don't appear until Tuesday

Also, has anyone bought any perfume samples lately. I got the '50's Glam' which were originally out of stock, and when they did arrive they were 5 to a mini plastic bag instead of in the little individual blister pack. Firstly, they made the house smell like the inside of a hookers handbag, and secondly they were almost impossible to stick to the little flyer that I use for samples (they kept pinging off and bombing the dog, who looked most unimpressed :rotfl: )

OK rant over.......I feel better now :D

If you do an image search for 'Avon', you may find that there are out of date logos which probably wouldn't be a problem. I found one with a lipstick and a flower, which doesn't actually use the Avon name, and I use that on all my paperwork. It converts well to greyscale too, which saves money on printing as I can do it on the mono laser printer ;)

Earth to Planet Avon.........is there anyone out there?:rotfl:

Where is everybody today? I've just had a mystifying exchange with my ASM re the upcoming 'Avon Experience' on Wednesday.

Knowing it had been re-vamped from the old call-in format, I asked her if it was still a drop in, or if not whether she could tell me the starting time of the various components (she'd suggested that the 'increase your sales' workshop would be the best one for me to attend as she is using some of my ideas). The reply was that they are planning to start the worshops around 11 provided there is anyone to train. Does she think that we can all stay the whole day, especially considering it's delivery day for our area

Think I'll probably give it a miss on the grounds that if I don't deliver my orders, I wont have any sales to increase :D
