Hi all,
I sent my delivery back after it finally arrived 6 days late as it was bashed beyond belief! I've decided to put Avon on hold but have kept my account open as I think I'll have another go in a few months.
My ASM was good enough to complain to Avon and the couriers on my behalf and got them to agree to waive the set up fee as I was mucked about so much.

Lol what on earth had they done with the boxes!!!!! At least your ASM sounds good, and with the set-up fee being waved that's a bit of good news - I know early on in the posts (I was sad one night and read them all!!!) someone said that your account is shut down after so long if you don't order, but not sure how long a time period that is. Have you been through that with your ASM? As if you are going to start it up again, it would be a shame to have to re-join if your account expired.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I remember my ASM saying when she signed me up that as long as I place an order of some kind each campaign then my account will be fine, even if it's just for a pack of order forms. I was thinking of ordering a couple of bits just for me for C6 (and pay the £2,50 delivery fee) and see how the couriers get on.They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

Hi all
Just wondering... some of my houses never give me my books back, we call them "book-munchers"should I keep delivering books to them?? I must admit I don't knock because I'm a wimp, I just put on what day to leave book out etc. If they don't I put an "I called" card through and then I give up. Some houses have half-inched my books several campaigns in a row. Should I give up on these??
Thanks.

Hi,
has anyone used the skin type testers before? I have a party tonight and had a go so that I knew what I was doing but the cheek one didn't seem to do anything. Does anyone know the correct procedure?!!:D0 -
it probably means you have dry/normal skin on your cheeks.
As i think they work by soaking up the excess oil in your skin.. that what marks the tester.. so if you dont have excess oil then it wont transfer onto the tester.0 -
Ok, thanks for replying. I did consider that but I always think of myself as a greasy teenager - I need to start accepting that I am getting older, and older and .........:rotfl:0

If you don't place an order for 3 consecutive campaigns you get removed. If you return within another few campaigns you continue with the same account but will have to pay a reinstatement fee normally. Beyond that and it's start again completely (assuming you don't owe them anything).Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I know some people on here give houses a few campaigns, and if after that point they don't get the books back they stop delivering them one for a while. Me however, if I don't get a book back once then I don't give them one again, I also put a calling card through, and will knock to get it back also. But if after that point I don't have any luck I remove that house from my rounds - unless it looks as if they might have been on holiday. With those houses I will probably try again later in the year and see how I get on then. I don't personally think it's worth the hassle of keeping on having to go back time after time, when you know you won't get the book back let alone get an order!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
