help-0003.gifHi all, i don't know if anyone can help me, please? A potential new customer has asked for a 200ml tub of Skin So Soft Body Souffle - soft and fresh. It's in a tub with a light blue/green lid.
I'm on campaigns 7 & 8. I can't find it in either brochure, which i and OH have looked through several times! reading_newspaper.gif I've also got the hello tomorrow mag for campaign 7 & 9, i can't find it in them either!

I'm guessing the product has been replaced confuzzled.gif By any chance does anyone know what to?

Apparently the cream is renowned for being used by fisherman etc as it's a good insect repellant mgfishing.gif

Any help would be much appreciated - thank you!!

Could anyone please tell me whether declaring my Avon takings will affect my working or child tax credit? It's going to be pointless doing it if I just get it taken away again! Thanks :)

I'm guessing it depends on how much you are earning? Perhaps you could ask them 'theroretically' (sp?) how it works on the 'phone?

Strangely enough, I was asked for that a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to find a direct replacement. My customer has ordered the Planet Spa Whipped Body Cream instead, but I don't know about any insect repellant qualities. The SSS Dry Oil Body Spray (the green one) contains Citronella oil and therefore definitely repels insects (that's if you can put up with the smell yourself :p )

According to my book, the code for the black eyeliner is 50252 - don't forget that you must quote the code for the free one and not the full price one.

I think if you delete it and enter that number it should come up as free.

Sorry BTW about the misleading post re the Thermafirm - I was obviously looking at the wrong one!
Lol it's alright - kept me on my toes lol! :D

yes its the one with the orange half good job it was sealed else it would have looked dodgy not had any problems before cant understand:confused: why they
would not give me a replacement though

Thats the eye cream MIL is ordering this time! (she likes her face creams lol), don't understand why you can't get stock. I'm ordering it from HT along with a face wash for my Mum in order to get a free bonus bag to put towards my Mums birthday prezzie. It looks like exactly the same eye cream in HT, though I suppose the packaging might be changing slightly - which might explain why it's showing as out of stock for you? But that won't be until C8 so you would think there would be plenty available still!

hi i am on child tax credit and do avon if you earn more than £20 a week anything over the £20 they take of youi declare it to them and what they do is well for me anyway is at the end of each year i have to send them my invoices and they work out over the 12 month period how much i earn with avon then work out how much i earn a week, as i dont have a huge round i dont earn enough for them to take any money from me,i would advise speaking to the tax credits though just incase your situation is different than mine best to check it out.hth

Thank you ever so much Elliebee, that's really helpful. I did wonder about that dry oil spray. You're a star! ;)

Just received a correction to the March newsletter (the one re the Oasis Watch) - i'll bet someone has a red face :o

Does anyone else think that the new style brochure is heavier than the old ones? I have 50 in my trolley ready to go out on Monday and I shall have a problem lifting them into the car!

I am pleased to say my first camp sales are £180. I was very pleased as I thought i'd struggle to get MOV. Now i'm starting to worry about next camp - will anyone order ?! My SL advised me to get some samples and put into the cats. I was going to offer a mystery free gift on orders over £20. Should I give the free sample AND offer the free gift or is that a bit too much ?
    Thanks
    xx

Personally - I tried giving samples out in brochures on my second campaign - most of them came back even if the books had been looked at! So, might be better to try the free gift if you spend over £20 idea. That way, you only have to buy items if you get orders, rather than buying samples in the hope it encourages orders. Also, if you get the naturals range items, most are only £1, so with a 25% commission discount it would only cost you 75p! Also, in C5 (not sure which is your current/back order campaign) there is a lavender offer of 5 for £5 so you could get some big bottles of bubble bath really cheaply.

Mind you, this time I tried offering a goodie bag of samples with each order over £10 and it has really done the trick! I did a notelet saying about the offer, and had tick boxes for people to select their skin type, skin colour of foundations, perferred lipstick shades.

Had very few orders of below £10, which wasn't the case previously. I did this as was given loads of samples for hitting the targets in my first 2 campaigns. Idea for the future perhaps? As if you got £180 on your first go, and get over HOV again on your second campaign then you will receive some samples.
