Hmmm still no email from my ASM re my territory, I cant give the books out if I dont know which houses I have can I?! I also still cant log on to the website so I think some phone calls are in order tomorrow.
I hope I can generate some more orders. I have one so far from my partners Mum (bless her) but sadly OH himself isnt interested in anything even when I pointed out the offers on items he uses regularly, thanks hun, not!
I have just under 3 weeks until I have to place an order online so I'd better get my thinking cap on to get more sales. Any tips? I dont know if my work place will be very lucrative as apparantly someone in Finance takes a book in for her friend sometimes. They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

The landlady in my local pub has taken some books off me tonight for her and her friends to order from as they don't have an avon lady ... could be worth a try? xxSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -
The website thing usually sorts itself in a day or so (if i remember rightly and its the DOB thing your having the problem with?) because it happened to me and a few other... but some people on here have rang avon and had it sorted anyway.
If you havent heard about territory do you have any neighbours you know in your street that you could knock and ask if they want a book as "friends and family" at the moment?
After what happened with me today id suggest making up a poster along the lines of "if you need a rep contact me" and popping into local newsagents to ask if you could put it up in the window. Try any other local shops who have posters/notices up in their windows too. People on here have had sucess with hairdressers (but ive not been able to try this myself yet)
Try work you never know... people may be happy to have a "regular" rep who they know themselves .... not someone who occassionaly turns up with a book.
Do you have family or friends who could take a book into work with them? Maybe offer a little incentive if they get orders for you.
Do you use any websites such as facebook etc? Or maybe even go through your email contacts and send out messages to tell everyone you know that your an avon rep now and ask if they would like a book.0 -

If you have returned items since the run-up to Christmas please check they have been credited okay and not recharged. Apparently they were overrun with returns and a lot didn't even make it as far as head office, they were just sat there in pallets at the delivery depots because there was nowhere else to put them.
.
Yes we have had the last 2 campaigns with recharges , the first one too ages to sort out and we got one last week, i think Avon CS absoloutely sucks , worst i have experienced anyway no one seems to do anything0 -
Still not heard from her!!!!!! Just rung and left another message!
Is anybody an SL on here? If you had to cancel appointments at short notice, due to a family problem etc, can you get someone else to ring on your behalf? If something has happened in her family then I understand her not coming, but surely she should still have emailed/rung me to let me know!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
It's worth reading the 'Captain Crunch' bit on the latest incarnation of the website - £5 off voucher in yesterday's Sun newspaper (one per customer
)
Having said which, does anyone have the Sun and can tell us all the code please?
Also worth noting that the special offers section (on mine anyway) has the Clinical Eye Lift at £5, which is useful as my customer has ordered it at £15'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Hello,
Went out to collect cats last night. I out out 38, got back about 25 so got a few to go back and get.
Got £95.00 in orders though. So thought that was quite gooD. A couple of new people. 4 of the people that ordered last ime I have not got their books back yet. So i am quite hopeful. I have got another 25 to put out on my 1st territory then I have got a new territory only got given that a couple of days ago though so anotha 80 houses (I am going to put them on c4 though) So got 25 to old territory and 22 new to put out tonight. Bit of a pain that I only ended up with this many C4's left. But I got untill 3rd march to get it done so i think I will manage it. Not sure what I am going to do though if I get hardly any C4's back from my new territory. LOl£2,000 by October 09 for Wedding got £500/£2,000Avon - C4=£170, C5=£194, C6=£119,C7=£60 (aim = £200, 60/200)0 -

Hi Tiredmum
If you could PM me your name, address and telephone number I can put you in touch with a local sales leader. I am directly under an ASM and it works for me, but that is because I am good mates with my ASM now - I agree that most of the time being under a good sales leader is preferable to an area manager. BUT not all sales leaders are good - look at the problems Lozza seems to be having for instance.
Lozza, I am a sales leader and I would never dream of treating one of my reps so badly!!! I would call Avon and complain as, at the end of the day, that sales leader is earning money from you and should be doing her job!0 -
I know I'm seriously cheesed off! Nothing new though, the day she came to sign me up she was an hour late....no apology or explanation either! I'll just be glad if I can get the books & some more territory from her ...... then never have to speak to her again tbh!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
