Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

It's me again! Just put all my orders onto the site last night (saved them but haven't gone any further as may have some orders at work tomorrow) - for the items that are on offer where you get a second item for 50p, or 4 for £5 - if you type into the site in order will it automatically know to do the offer?
Managed to work out back/current campaign ordering to make a bit extra money - up to about an extra £10, so pretty pleased with myself
Noticed no-one seems to have answered that bit! Yes, that sort of offer goes through automatically so they will simply charge £1.25 ea, for a multiple of 4 (ie 9, 10 or 11 items will be charged as 2 lots of £5 then full price for the remaining ones - don't forget you can send back any unwanted ones though for a credit of £1.25 less the commission).
As to returns, if you have more than 1 of the item available never send back the cheapest oneGood grief! I hope no-one from Avon reads this or all our little loopholes will be closed

oohh i didn't know you had to order the freebies, DUH!!!! At least I can add them tonight!!!
At least i know before my order goes in. I am only on c4 but this is the one where peopel can order free samples of the new solutions range.
Well I added one onto every order so I can give them out. When I went to view my order they were all there, but when I went to view subtotal there was only one, Does that mean I wont get them all?? They were not even under the samples section. They are still in the view my order section, about 15 of them and most people who ordered asked for one.
ElleX£2,000 by October 09 for Wedding got £500/£2,000Avon - C4=£170, C5=£194, C6=£119,C7=£60 (aim = £200, 60/200)0 -

It maybe because the samples are out of stock. I recieved my C4 order over a week ago but didnt get any of the free samples that i ordered because they were out of stock - meant to follow with next orderLife isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -
Just looked at my online invoice and some of the Solutions samples are OOS at the moment and will follow when available, as are the 50's Glam perfume samples. I think my lot are a bit slow.......only 1 person actually ordered a solutions sample, so I've ordered 1 per customer anyway
Neither of them appear to be available to buy until brochure 6, so I'll hold off till then to give the samples anyway.

Hi everyone!
I'm new to the forum and also relatively new to Avon.
I joined Avon in Dec. I'm still learning what & to do things. My SL is a lovely lady but have not really been getting much advice & info from her??
I've done 3 campaigns so far...currently on C6(today)
I need advice/suggestions:
A friend has presented me with this opportunity, she is hosting an Ann Summers party as a hen night for a mutual friend and has asked me to bring along some Avon products which would hopefully help me with some sales.
The party is in two weeks, so I would need to order today in order to receive the products in time for the party.
As this would be my 1st party basically...what products would you suggest I order?
And any advice on how to present myself & products on the day at the party?
Thanks

I've never done a party before but i usually find perfume samples go down well, especially if the perfume is on offer or if it has a free gift. Maybe looks and see what other products have free gifts.
Will they be placing orders from C6? i'll have a look and get back to youLife isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

I will be on C7 at the time of the party.
But I guess I would be able to back order from C6.
I was thinking of making up just a small goody bag for each lady coming to the party with a few samples and perhaps re-using my old brochures from C6.
Don't know if that's a good or bad idea?0 -

I think its a good idea, you could put a range of samples, perfume, face cream, shampoo, bath etc and include a book. If you are making a few it shouldnt work out too expensive.
