Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

Hi, I am new to AVON, but I would like to give parties a go. Does anyone on here do them???

If so what adive can you give me? How do you go about doing them? Are there rules set out by AVON?

Looking at HT 7,
Advance techniques samples 5 for 10p
Anew Samples 5 for 60p - save 65p
A few perfume samples are buy one get one free, so 10 for 60p - maybe go for the the 50's glam, its new in the C6 and is only £6 and maybe dreamlife same price but very different scents.
Maybe include a skin tester strip, they are £1.75 but not sure how many you get.
Its up to you but i think that lipsticks and foundations are tricky to choose a shade for people to sample.

I have nothing on my invoice either about the competition but i'm sure someone on here maybe able to help

just a quick one i showed my mum the ht book 6 and she wants to order something from it. trouble is its its the pc offer and i ve only just started so am not in it yet.
is there anyway i can order it for her and pay the price in the book not full product price (its the one on pg37 )

hi all
i have been lurking, honest
got a query, ve just got my c4 order, in it have have 2 Advance Techniques Beauty Bonus bags and 2 extra glazewear pink kiss lipstick, they are showing free on my invoice.
I didn't order them so not sure why i got them?
i suppose i shouldn't ask as they were free, but why did i get them? want to check they are not for a customer or something and ive missed the deal

usually the items that come in the pc pack can be brought individually in the ht. hope that helps?

Maybe they were a "prize" off your asm/sl or something? They are both items out of the C4 Sales leaflet.


I have been the dentist today for a filling and so couldnt talk so didnt wanna go collect my books! :rolleyes: So i made slips saying id call back thursday "to give you a little longer" to put through houses that hadnt left the books out... but AWFULLY glad i did go out and collect the books... cos one customer ordered £63 of stuff!!:D

Re what to order for parties: I have never done them but if it was me id order some the linen/room sprays from naturals range... anyone can use them and they demonstrate the scent of rest of the range! Some of the crusade pins... they are very popular with my customers and again not skin colour etc specific.. Id get some of the solutions strips (you get 50 in a pack - enough for 25 customers) and also maybe a pot of each of the new solutions so you can tell them what skin type they have so which one they need.. then they can sample it. Also order LOTS of spatulas!! They are free and means people dont need to use germy fingers if they all want to try a product and if you include skincare etc samples they can get it all out the sample pack and not waste half of it.

Someone mentioned about ordering the Little Black Dress gift set out of the HT book for £5 instrad of the C4 book for £6, a customer has ordered LBD but i presume the boxed gift set wont have an individual box for the LBD perfume
