how many sale leaflets are you meant to get BTW? i got just the one last order.

Its one per book, C17 dosent haver a sale leaflet but C18 does.

As you got one i presume its the C18 one as you get a preview of the book ahead dont you.
  • I answered one of my own questions now - the sale book is for campaign 18.

Went back for the other order, lady's ordered £20 worth, so I'm super happy. Just a shame for me that I've got one order on camp 17 & one on camp 18 at this mo. Oh & my Mum's are camp 17.
  • Hi :santa2:

Just a quick question for those of you who do spreadsheets. What do you put in them? Do you do ones for what customers buy or how much they speand? I feel like I should be keeping a record of each campaign but not sure how.

Thanks for your help in advance

I just do the customers total spend each campaign, not what they've ordered but then I'm not as organised as some! But I do seem to remember what things people have ordered

  • I do the same - total spend per customer per campaign, then a running total to date. I use Excel and do one sheet for overall order totals (adding a column for each campaign). I also do a sheet for each campaign showing the actual amount I have to collect from each customer, taking account of discounts, missing items etc., with a space for notes and a box I can tick as each is delivered. That makes it easier to see what I still have to deliver, and also to calculate my earnings.

In addition to that I keep all my customer order forms (having given them the bottom copy), and I file them away in a box file under first names. That way I can look back on what people have ordered and it's proved invaluable a couple of times when I've had orders with no door number - I've been able to go through and compared handwriting (I'm afraid I'm not one of those sensible people who check their books as they collect them!)

  • Wow you all seem so organised. I think I will start one with just what customers are spending each campaign. Cant wait for this order to come. My first order I only had 4 boxes to go through. With this order being £732 I hoping to have loads of boxes. Then it will feel like xmas. Yep Im a big kid really lol.
  • Im feeling very down about Avon atm, I dont know whether to carry on or not, I have no roads to do, most of my friends and family live miles away or abroad, I dont want to hassle my dog walking clients for orders every three weeks, as I feel that is unfair. I have no way of actually making the £76 or whatever it is to earn anything,

My TL has suggested that I Ebay items, get a walking client to sign up so I can do her village ( 10 miles away ) which I dont really want to be hassling her into doing that for me.

    So what do I do?
  • Aaaww! Kerrie - sorry you're so down :grouphug:

If you have enough brochures, you could just hand your dog-walking clients a book and say 'there's a new book out - just let me know if you want anything' (most 'doggie' people are lovely, so won't mind ;) ).

How about local shops, hairdressers, schools, clubs, etc? You could ask about leaving a brochure, or even run a stall at a fete (which I know some people on here have done very successfully). From what I've seen, eBay is not too successful (bought a 'job-lot' myself, containing around 10 products for £3.99, so there can't have been much profit for the seller.)

Come on everyone..........help Kerrie out here. We don't want to lose one of our own, do we

Claire, is the village still within your area, do you know? If so there's no reason that you can't have that village as your own territory, without getting someone else to sign up. If it is in a different area, there's no way around it, though I'm a little surprised your SL suggested getting a client to sign up for you - I'd only ever condone that if it were close family, and even then only if the rep really really wanted to do it!

Have you asked for a list of what territory in your area near you IS available so you could have a look and actually pick what is most convenient for you? Ask your sales leader, if she is not helpful then I'll get your ASM's details for you, she will be able to tell you what is free.

I'm sorry you're down on Avon at the moment, I'm quite surprised at how unhelpful your SL seems to have been. And I'm REALLY surprised they suggest selling on Ebay - most prices are quite depressed and it's technically against Avon's rules unless you have bought and paid for the stock.
  • No, the village is out of my area ( even through both my village and the other one are still considered to be Sittingbourne )

Apparently I could have some roads in Rainham ( again miles away, I dont drive (Yet)) would mean me lugging boxes on and off trains/bueses. Not very practical or bugging the OH after he has done a 12 day to taking me, which I really dont want to do ( hard enough getting him to switch off in the evenings as it is )

No, havent asked for Territory list, didnt know I could? Big prob is that I am out of my ASm/TLs area, so that makes things doubly hard

She did make suggestions as to how I can make orders ( the ebay, village fetes, friends and family ) I really dont have time to upload every item from the brochure to ebay, on the off chance I might sell something. Village fete MAY work, but again thats a one off sales event, how likely am I to get 76 quids worth of orders every 3 weeks.

Dont reallly want to quit, but dont see how I have much choice
