I'd rather have those dates than C1 arriving after Xmas, which is what is happening to me...0

Been with manager today sorting campaigns etc, discussed one stop selling.
Does anyone else do this.
We have a couple of short campaigns coming up and it sounds a good way for your customers to get all the books etc0 -
Dont think we can do with the hassle to be honest, last thing we want to do xmas eve is sort out Avon, we will be getting excited waiting for Santa to arrive :xmastree:
Our delivery dates are below i presume you are the same
Camp 17 Delivery Wed 19th November
Camp 18 Delivery Wed 10th Dec
Camp 1 Delivery Tues 23 Dec
Camp 2 Delivery Wed 14th Jan 2009
Camp 3 Delivery 28th Jan 2009
Ah! Now that is really odd! My latest delivery was 12th Nov, next is 3rd December, then 23rd, but the post-Christmas ones are the same as yours. How does that work, I wonder?'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Some campaigns split in two for Xmas. Not sure which - J definitely does but can't remember the others. Maybe it's that Elliebee?0

my asm is calling tomorrow with more C18 and C1 books for me
I was going to hand out my C2's with my C1's with big stickers on saying "PLEASE NOTE ITEMS ORDERED FROM THIS BOOK WILL NOT BE DELIVERED UNTIL AFTER CHRISTMAS" just my C2 runs from dec 17th and my order goes in 30th Dec.. so i doubt i'll get many orders if i hand them out during that period !!! Do you think that would be ok? I know it will probably effect my C1 orders but i have some customers who will still only be on C18 so they should bump up the order sales for that campaign plus i have about 200 new houses to canvas  :rotfl:
Im not aiming too high these campaigns i just ideally want at least £250 sales on C1 and C2 asi really want my organiser incentive prize thingy:rotfl: :rotfl:

i emailed avon and asked when my delivery dates were because the website is only showing me them for upto c18.
they sent me this:
Campaign Place order by Delivery Date
1 18/12/08 23/12/08
2 8/1/09 14/1/09
3 22/1/09 28/1/09
4 12/2/09 18/2/09
which now makes me look a complete plonker cos i told my customers they only had one more delivery before xmas, when infact its 2.
You would think, that to get 18 camps into the year theyd put 2 weeks inbetween the ones before xmas, not after.0 -
ok, i dont know why the dates thing has gone weird, i edited it and changed it but its still showing up all squashed. sorry!0

It sounds great to me, and it'll make life a lot easier for the 2 week campaigns. I'll still be using my books twice, cuz I've got my territory on the current book, and my caretaking territory on the book behind.
The thing that really sold me on the idea though, was meeting a lady who'd been doing Avon for 45 years, for about 44 of those she's been in the President's Club. (Back then it was Silver Circle!) She does one stop selling. Plus, only works on Avon for one week out of every campaign.
Decided against doing it before Xmas though, cuz it meant I'd be taking the last Christmas brochure off people in November. (I get my C1 delivered 17 Dec.)
So, with their Campaign 1 delivery I'll be giving them C2 and C3. One week later I'll pick up C2. Then with the C2 delivery I'll pick up C3 and give them C4. Then with C3 delivery I'll pick up C4 and give them C5.
Of course not all are going to order every time, so I think of it like I'm just swapping books every 3 weeks, and if they've ordered I'll deliver it at the same time.0 -
I still don't understand how 'one-stop selling' works with the run of the mill books (ie those who haven't yet bought). I can see that it would work with regular customers but that still leaves the others, who forget about the book if I leave it for a week, let alone 3
I'd be really interested to know how you all deal with this (my aging brain takes time to process things)
