Johanne, I am so proud of the way you conquered your anxiety! Go you! And I have to admit, I am the same - things are working now because they HAVE to, and I need a bit of pressure to kick my bum into action!

That's what I've found good about Avon - you can, to some extent, have little customer interaction if that's how you feel, until your confidence builds up a bit. I still haven't had the courage to canvass all my 'maybe' people, but I know I'll get there. Plus you have to get out to get the money in, and you have to put a bit of slap on, which instantly makes you feel better!

SC - sorry about the pdfs! For my newsletters I've just done a screen print, which I've pasted into MSPaint, and saved it as a bmp. I've cropped it using Faststone Image Viewer, which is a freeware photo tool. Edit - just noticed you can crop and do lots of editing to your pictures within photobucket.

Thanks Elliebie, I'm just uploading my draft for C1 (getting as many done as possible while I've got the time!). Only problem is that now Word is tripping because of all the pictures so I'll have to find a way to do it on Excel
I'm thinking after New Year cuz of credit crunch doom and gloom I'll push the 'Avon isn't a luxury it's your daily essentials' angle.

That photobucket album is running snail slow at the moment! Maybe there's lots of people looking at one time!

This is my newsletter for C18, have managed to shrink it down to A5 and tried to put different shapes in so it looks easier to read. So far have sold nothing from my top 3 on C18(!), but for C1 I'll be putting my collection/delivery dates on there too, and that's a lot easier than writing it on the order forms.

In fact, I've made that a group album, so all of you can upload any Avon pics you'd like to share.

Becareful using logos, there is a warning on the website about using the 007 logo you need permission to use it apparently :o

Thanks for the reminder. You probably need permission to use any of the logos.

everyone works as i said... and i could get it delivered to work but what if it comes early? i work in a busy town centre. theres no where to leave them.

You can request the couiers to hold the items and then go and pick them up yourself at a conveient time, I think I'm going to start this, it will be so much easier x

Just realised that our C1 order will be delivered 23rd December, we are going to miss this one out as its too near to xmas, anyone else doing the same ?
  • Hi Deanos

I'm on the same mailplan as you (H presumably?) and I am doing C1 but only delivering the orders needed for Christmas immediately. The non-urgent ones will go out between Christmas and New Year. I can't remember what date our pre-Christmas one was last year (the 18th comes to mind, but I could be wrong), but I did quite well on it, to my surprise. The ones I hate are the 2-weeklies - I did them all but it was all a bit frantic to get books out and collected on time.

Oh, and by the way, for the benefit of those whose first 2-weekly campaigns this will be, don't panic as the targets are lower - I think the 20% one is around £50 and can't remember the higher one, but I'm sure someone else will :D
