BRILLIANT JOHANNE! :T
What happened to that shy little thing who was saying a week or two back that she didn't know if she could do it?As they say, you don't know what you can do till you try!

This is my newsletter for C18, have managed to shrink it down to A5 and tried to put different shapes in so it looks easier to read. So far have sold nothing from my top 3 on C18(!), but for C1 I'll be putting my collection/delivery dates on there too, and that's a lot easier than writing it on the order forms.

In fact, I've made that a group album, so all of you can upload any Avon pics you'd like to share.
Also, C18 bonuses for me so far are:
Daily Results Healthy Shine shampoo - back order to C17 and order the whole Shine Essentials back (p168), customer gets shampoo for £2.50, I get the other 4 products for £2.50! Handy for gifts.
Lavender Bubble Bath, customer ordered on 2 for £5 offer - backorder to C17 where they're in a 5 for £5.. 3 free products for me!
Also, C17 bonus (all my caretaking roads are on a book behind):
Customer ordered 2 for £8 mix & match pages 62-69 C17, if I order it from C18, there's a 3 products for £10 offer, customer gets their items for £8, I can get me some foundation for only £2!0 -
What if someone else reads the note and takes all your stock you will to pay for it, bit risky ?
Yeah I know but I don't have much choice - also I live at the end of a cul-de-sac and hardly anyone ever goes up to my house so I'm pretty confident. I know its not for everyone but so far it seems to work for me.Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -

Wanna know the HONEST truth? I work better when stressed and my personal circumstances have just changed dramatically so I now NEED to make AVON work for me and my daughter0 -
oooh few things i noticed when doing my orderwhich might help people
- In C18 if anyone orders the "perfect eyes gift set" (36749) backorder in C17 as its £6 cheaper
- In C17 (or 18) if anyone orders the "ANEW Clinical eye lift" order the above mentioned "perfect eyes gift set" instead for £12 from C17 to bag yourself £3.50 extra commission and a free "supefull" mascara
- Or if 2 customers order from the ANEW range in C18 and one item is skincare dont forget to order your free bonus bag for yourself... ive done this and have customers already ordered the the eye lift and mascara so will give them to them and get about £18 in extra commission!
- In C18 if anyone orders the arabian glow giftset backorder to C17 to bag £5 extra commission for yourself.
- In general check all the giftsets in C18 as they are more than C17 in alot of cases... however if more than one customer orders you might be better ordering from C18 and getting one of them half price!
But you would need to do the maths for that one yourself to see if it works out better!:rotfl:
- If 2 customers order expensive items in C18 from the "advance techniques" range on the "buy one choose one for £1" check its not cheaper to get them in the C17 offer of "buy any 2 for £4"
- The "shimmer swirls" make up (25411) is £4 cheaper in C17 than C18.

Thanks for that Lynsey - your newsletter looks great. :T
If you're still doing C17 and have spare clutch bags, then the Colortrend offer in C18 is 3 for £5. If your customer has ordered 2 items and a bag, then order 3 items from C18 and use the bag you have. They pay full price & get their bag; you gain 1 item to use or send back, plus the extra money. Only a small saving, but it all helps!'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

I love this - I am only just submitting C17 and here's you guys talking about your C18 orders! I'd contribute, but I've barely looked at my C18s yet!
I've got to be honest, though, I still check the price of every single item across the two books, every time. It all bumps up the commission, and I've got freebies coming out of my ears!
One thing that really annoyed me was that last time I had a customer from one of the posh houses on my territory order the solutions buy one, get one for £1 from C16, but she hadn't noticed the offer. I ordered her the gift set from C17 as it was only £1 more at £12, thinking she'd get 2 more items for £8 less than she expected and that she'd love me forever. (This was against the instinct to keep the bag and the eyecream for myself). When I went to deliver, she wasn't in, but her husband came to the door with £11, so she knew FULL WELL that it was on offer and was playing some kind of game. I explained about the offer in the next book, and asked if she wanted to two items for an extra £1. He called his wife to find out and I could hear her shouting down the phone. I'm not going to repeat precisely what she said, because it is derogatory to a whole group of people, but she basically implied that I was like a travelling person who suckers people in to buying extra things by tricking them. The husband was really embarrassed but I have told him that I won't be dropping books off to them again. But I was fuming, both that I'd been treated that way when I was trying to be helpful, and that people still think it's alright to make comments like that about certain sections of society
I just tried to upload about the £50 and £25 anniversary packs, but it won't have PDFs. Does anyone know how to turn a PDF into a JPG? I used to be able to do it on photoshop, but I don't have that anymore0
