My OH has just rung to say he has been to collect the first lot of books back for me this morning. I left 20 books and only 7 have left them out today as my note asked. I made some little reminder slips thanks to a template from a lovely lady on here and he has left one of these for those who haven't left their books out. Plus he says there's one order for £16.00 I suppose that's a start.

One bloke virtually threw the book back at my OH and said 'don't want any more of these - don't you know people haven't got any money?' Charming!!!

I'll call on the street tomorrow when I finish work at lunch to see if any more are out and hopefully my delivery will have arrived and more C17 books will be waiting for me to deliver to my other streets. Fingers crossed for a bit better luck.

Sorry Princess loki - I always pay on-line so I wasn't aware that they take credit card over the phone.

    Emma

that's ok - avon seem to keep it secret that you can pay on credit card  . i did double check with them and there are no additional charges that they add on or anything. i have paid the last three orders on my tesco card (in the hope that i will increase clubcard points before x-mas :T ) and it has all been fine!

one other thing is i don't seem to have got the indian call centre  . last lady i spoke to was definately from uk!
it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:

  • Hi everyone, just a quick long shot question. One of my ladies has asked if there is anything similar to a very old lipstick called Rose Gay. She hasnt been able to get it for years as it is discontinued, and wondered if there was anything close to it? It is quite a shocking pink colour. Any suggestions???

  • I was so happy because my little note through the door of my customers helped and as a result, every customer I expected to be home, was home and had the correct money!

    3. Don't forget to include the starter kit, if you want it, I forgot and almost missed out, you only have your first 2 campaigns to buy it and it is definitely worth the money.

It sounds like they might not be sending you HT because of the brochures you're ordering. As far as I know, Avon prefer you to order 2 campaigns ahead (so if this is your C16 order, they'd have wanted you to order C18 books) so as you didn't, they've sent you one for 50p and haven't sent you any HT. Did you just order C17 books?

I prefer ordering books in advance, get to have a nosey at them and you can get books ready before you're delivery comes.

For some reason though Avon always send me loads of copies, they sent me 24 copies of HT1 (order in C17) Nutters!
 Think happy & you'll be happy
