Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

I thought you could have one per rep, so not a bad deal really are they.
Has anyone else ordered more than one?

Part of me wants to for the possible orders but also think if theyve had 2 weeks to look at books and numerous reminders and still not done anything then maybe they just dont want anything? AND would i be chasing payment way im chasing the order?

chances are they didnt answer the door because they havent done their order like they said they would and didnt want to have to face you to say so, knowing they are wasting your time!
I had a lady like this, kept asking me to leave a book and call back etc. I perservered and its paid off. The last 2 camps shes ordered about £30 each time :T On one occassion she even phoned me and said ive done my order can you come and collect it tomorrow, we arranged a time, i went as promised and she answered the door and said shed not done it yet and could i go back!
Pop a note through their doors saying if youd like to order please call me by.....to arrange collection of your order. Its in their hands then. If they really want to order they will call you, especially knowing how many time youve already been!

I now know ehat everyone was going on about the new call centre! I was just asked if it was my account when i gave them all my details!! I know its only for security but the old call centre you just had to confirm your name and date of birth!! Then she told me that my order has gone to packing and i will receive it as normal on Tuesday but it still hasnt changed on the website. Aggghhh!!

Would anyone here be able to tell me who my rep is as i moved and my old one has never replied to my emails so im assuming ive got a different one now!!

This is my 2nd campaign. Had problems the first time as was told to do a side road off the main one only to find that it was covered and SL had made mistake, lost lots of books!!
was also told that some numbers in my road were covered and was given the ones that were, about 6. Did the rest of the road and collected today in the freezing rain and snow. Several left books out saying they already have a rep, i picked up one book which is campaign 14, (im on 17), which had an order form in with yet another reps name. So it appears theres 3 possibly more reps already covering this area!!!!!!!!!!
Only got 1 order which didnt put her address on so no idea which house.!!!
No where near my MOV and really peeved again!! looks like i will have to spend loads yet again to make it up!!

I was offered another territory last time by my SL, but said i would give it a good go first, but now i dont know if i even want to bother doing a territory at all if this is how organised it is!! How do i know the other territory wont be the same, it appears either the SL doesnt know whose doing what or reps have just dropped brochures anywhere to get orders, maybe i should just do that!!:mad:

Im just about to do my first territory drop, is it not best to chap the doors and ask if they would like you to leave a brochure rather than just pop them throught the doors, only to find that there have been no books left out for you and no one answers the door.

Novelli, would this not solve your problem ??

Feedback would be good as im not sure how to go about it now after last post?

Madmentaldede - thanks for that. I've not yet submitted order i've only saved it. I'll go back on n use drop down box to add my back orders. It was mainly payments that i was bothered about n that i got all of my prices n free gifts entered correctly. I'll be able to have a better look at the site when my little un has gone to bed. I'll let you know how i get on.

Well havent had anymore orders through, and its "mischief night" so im not going out to chase up my 5 missing books/orders ... and doubt people will be answering doors anyway!

So im guessing i have no more orders! So my total customer sales are £308 for my first campaign My aim was only £250 so im really happy



P.S. Customer A from my previous post did come over to my OH today when he was painting the railings in the front garden andthe conversation apparently went like this:

Woman: Hi (pause) so what did your wife have?
*OH looks very he bemused (not least because were not married yet :rotfl:)*
Woman: "did she have a boy or girl?"
OH: "Oh erm a girl"
Woman: "Ooh lovely how old is she now?"
OH: "Six months"
Woman: "Oh thats flown over, what did you call her?"
OH: "Sarah"
Woman: "Ooh thats lovely! Well bye!"
*woman walks off down the street then starts arguing with her husband who is saying ooh its too cold to be painting he shouldnt be doing that and shes saying no just cos you wont do it...*

Now that may sound perfectly normal conversation but it was completely random and pointless as she llives directly opposite and has seen us million times since we had the baby but has never spoke to us once?! Sarah is nearly always dressed in pink and there were banners all over the house for days when she was born so thought everyone knew we had a girl! :rotfl: Oh and at no point at all did she remember she was meant to be passing me an AVON order! (OH didnt know otherwise he said he would have asked!) :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I can't remember how long I have been doing avon but i do remember doing it over xmas last yr.

I started with friends & family & never put much effot in. So last campaign (16 for me) I thought I would give it a go after redaing all the hints here.:j

I recently moved house so asked asm if new street had rep - thankfully it didn't. I only do my mums street & mine along with family, friends & work colleagues but I managed to better last campaigns commision - just submitted my c17 order totallin £419.17!!!:eek: It might not sound a lot to evry1 here but it is major for me as I reali only do avon in my spare time - i work fulltime & dont have a lot of free time!

the info sheets with snippets from the brochure along with my conatct details & when to leave brochure out was a great idea - along with the free gift when you spend x amount of pounds!:T

my comm is standing at £125.19 (I even missed a few orders from my friends work - but I will just back order them in c18)!!

Haven't added my orders up yet but it's going to be big.
Dreading delivery day especially as my daughter is signed up too it's going to be box central at my house lol
It does help to have all the information printed out for the customer.
