Hi Mousie. Can I feel sorry for myself too.
I'm supposed to be out collecting 130+ customers books today and am currently waiting for the doctor to call I was holding a piece of paper this morning and something went ping in my back and now I can't move and my back keeps going into spasm

I've got a spare HT18 if you want me to post it to you today (well, my 17 year old son will do it whilst doing my errands for me bless 'im!!) PM me your address and he can post it later.

I emailed my ASM this morning to tell her about that woman last week canvasing in our area, shes going to speak to her manager about it because she said she most def should not be coming into our area!

Dont worry i didnt even know the ASM was turning up last week... i had gone to bed with damp hair night the night before and had not straightened it the that morning so had a tatty medusa look going on held back with a heaband ive had since the 90s!... i had NO make up on at all and a big spot! I was wearing baby food stained trackies and a tshirt which is actually designed to look scruffy as it has paint splatters and holes/rips in! i was barefoot and needed a shower desperately.... AND she turned up on the day i had literally pulled the living room apart moving furniture to clean the bits you dont usually bother too:rolleyes: :rolleyes: I had to move cardboard boxes and piles of ironing so she could sit down.... Oh and my DD was covered in her breakfast still plonked infront of cbeebies!

As some of you know, I am good friends with my ASM now and I see her quite a bit, for work and just for social. She was round last week one day when my other half came back from work for his lunch.

"blooming heck, you're always round here!" he said in a mock-complaining voice - he loves her really!

"I like your house better" she told him in complete sincerity. "I have to keep my house tidy, I'd never get away with piling Avon stuff everywhere like Kerry does!"

:rotfl::o Not sure if I was happy or embarrassed at that one. My house is a mess, but as it has been pointed out, it makes people feel 'more at home'.

Well, I am all fired up and ready to go!! The asm was lovely. I am in area 410 and on "H" for the mailing plan thingy (is this good or bad??)
I have 2 streets totalling about 75 houses to start with then see how it goes and if too many house dont want to order then I can take on more.
Apparently once a month there is a special Avon day at a local hotel for Avon reps to try all the new products, get some hints and tips and meet other Avon reps which sounds really good.

just got back from collecting in my new area. Stillgot to go back for more tomorrow. Got £223 in orders that makes £381 and i haven't even touched my regulars yet.

Garlic and zinc it is - I always get colds - I had 3 last year - boo!

H mailplan is 'ok' it's not terrible but not great either. The one good thing is you will get your c1 delivery before christmas, all mailplans after H don't!

Yes your asm will run a local avon meeting every month, they are good and helpful, you should try it out.

It was hilarious!

I wasn't sure if it was the same guy so I said how many of these meetings have you done, he said he was at Coventry the week previously, so I said, brilliant, I have something to tell you then... what? he said... I said I was chatting to a friend on MSE and she said the avon marketing guy is cute - he went red and everyone in the meeting laughed!
