i dont fill in the collection and delivery bits, i just put a sticker on with my name, address and phone number, then i can re-use them
I had someone not put their name and address on a £17 order last time. It could have been one of about 20 houses, so I made a little note and popped it through all the doors saying if youve ordered and not received it then please ring me. But so far, a week later no call0 -
Hiya everyone not been on for a while, had a bit of a nightmare week. Laptop has died on me so need to get another. Was gonna cost over £200 to get it repaired!
Good news is i've had a few moew orders in, still to add them up but i think my totals about £150ish now so really pleased. and i got myself a new job too. Gonna ask manager if i can leave avon book in staff room for people, loads of ladies work there so loads of potential customers:D.
Should be back online properly by next week hopefully:rolleyes:£387.39/£196.46

An idea for those who use plastic bags for delivering books - stickers on outside of the bag with number/road on them - easy to see where you are going or need to still deliver - ive had a lot of problems trying to fifure out what book for what house when delivering etc if writing on order forms.
Could also put a sticker on bag saying order picked up on: x date, delivered by: x date - this is nice and clear when it goes into the house and may make it simplier for some? Might also help people remeber when to leave books out?
Can still include info on order form too but means ur not getting order forms spoiled if not used?
ONly thing I can think of about the order you dont know where it came from - did a lot of houses order or give you back books from those 20? cross any you can off list and door knock houses? I check each book if i receive one and make sure i mark it off on my book then and there so I know what each house wants - order, more books or no books.:j Debt-Free-Wannabe! :jDeclutter/Ebay/Savings0 -
If you put a sticker on the bag with the house number before you post it makes it alot easier to find out where the unaddressed order belongs too
I've started using them little dot stickers and puting the number and street initals on it EG> 57 W/R = 57 Wentcliffe Road
Proud to be dealing with my debts

I'm one of those saddos who checks every single book as I collect in case there's an order :rotfl: I've never had one without an address, but I'd know whose it was. Mind you, I've had some funny looks! Also, instead of a calling book, which I find fiddly and the roads all squashed up, I made an excel sheet of my territory, I update it each campaign with who does/doesn't have a book and who's ordered before, then as I collect each book I mark X for no order, XX for no more books, and an O for ordered - it does seem to work.
I used to use stickers on my order forms, now I print my name and number onto the order form and just use a printed slip saying when I'll pick up the book, when delivery is due, my details, any offers and a space for the person to write their total, so the customer can detatch and keep it. It means I can reuse unused forms, and the customer knows what money they need and when, and how to contact me. Completely pointless as I seem to bump into all of them, all the time anyway, but I've got more territory now, so you never know.
Sods law isn't it? I got loads of old C15s to do my new territory with (technically OH's territory) and I got almost every book back! Bet if I'd used the current one's they'd all have disappeared!
Anyway, my campaign is going pretty well sales-wise, I've got over £400 of orders and still only canvassed half of the territory, plus some f&f yet to order :j0 -
Well went to follow up my "i missed you" slips and retrieved another 4 books! So all in all onlt lost 4 books. I also got another order for £7 and the lady over the road is gonna order then pop it through my door!
Put back out 24 of my books and have discovered id forgotten at least 6 houses off my territory list and the flats id discounted all have individual letterboxes so may canvas them eventually...
I was thinking about the sticky label thing as tried to print my forms before but printer didnt like them :think:0 -
OH is going to give me some money now he's started work so I'm going to buy a printer ... I've never had a printer before so know nothing! What type of printer will I need to print out my order forms?Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0

Help!
Im new and have spent the past 3 weeks doing capaign 16 - got £130 worth of orders (just pleased i reached my m.o) and have orded from the hello tomorrow.
I got confused though and ordered C18 books instead of C17 - will this matter - can I order from C18 books if I get any orders and will they be delivered in C17 timescale.
Also im confused about the Hello tomorrow books - when are they valid - i thought on c16 i could order from the C17 and C18 but the prices were wrong when the order came through
Im now using C18 books in C17 can I use the C18 hellow tomorrow as well as the C1 they have sent :S:S:S:S:S:0 -
What sort of order forms do you need to print ?
The customer ones that go in the brochures ... I read someone earlier prints the order forms and it looks really neat.Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0
