Noticed tonight that Asda Direct has the above laptop reduced to £347 (del chg £4.95).
Here's the link: Samsung NP-R530
Couldn't see it cheaper anywhere else. It's on Amazon at £378.
Spec: Celeron Dual Core T3300
2MB RAM
250GB HDD
Win 7 Home Premium
Would be good for basic internet stuff and school/office work.0 -
I was looking at a promising looking laptop on ebay which the seller says has been a brief demo but has had the box stolen. It is a very good price for the model and spec, but am I taking too much of a risk in buying such an item do you think?0

These MSI's seem all the rage here but are no longer on the argos clearance store at top spec.
I did have a refurbished acer for 2 years previously before I dropped it. I never had any problems with it whatsoever.
Does anyone know of a sound and reliable laptop around the £300 mark which has the following:- 3GB Ram
- Decent screen size and processor (Football manager)
- Battery life longer than 1.5-2 hours0 -

I did thanks, I could go for it, but the ebay one had double the RAM and much bigger hard drive ... and no warranty!
