(maybe with 3 teenages):)
I have never had any problems with either and i gave pc world stick yesterday!
But i will only deal with one person there anyway.
Look at the pc's and get the advice on here and go and buy it from them.
After all you are not sleeping with them
Just dont listen to the sales people
I think that asus is a bargin since it is £400 in store and £350 online
it has second gen i3 in it compared to the rest that have the old ones.
i learnt that on Here too.
i wouldnt buy from comet though i HATE THEM:mad:
Thanks
Yes, indeed. If nothing goes wrong, they are fine.
The ASUS? It's red.Quite poor claimed battery life and a mediocre webcam.
So you shouldn't look at processor alone. Better to tailor to actual usage.
Three teenagers and a little one??0 -
can you suggestion one PLEASE up to £350 used mostly for college and facebook that asus is down to £332 on dixons with a code.
I thought it was very good for the money shows what i know
but then it has not got 4 wheels and an engine.

Have no idea why ACER thought that adding Packard Bell and eMachines to their stable was a good idea.
Perhaps they want to sweep up the low end of the market.
Try this last Toshiba Satellite C660-1D7 for £259.
Longer battery life at least. Buy it and take a look. If you don't like it, send it back for a full refund.0 -
Thanks but it has gone and its from Argos eeeekkkkkkSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0

That's why I wrote last one, buy it and then think about it afterwards. They go quickly as decent value for money.
I'm much prefer to deal with Argos new than PC World. With Argos there is no quibbling and I'll be dealing with the manufacturer for repairs and not PC World. Your choice.
With the Outlet, also no quibbling with refunds and the like.0 -

Hi, can anyone help me please. With my wedding vouchers i would love to buy a laptop and after 2 days searching i have narrowed it down to 3. I can only purchase from Argos so, of course very Limited. These are them. Oh and a Budge of £350 max.

Nothing amazing there at the moment....unless you are a fan of touchscreen laptops. They don't mess around when it comes to refunds, returns or repairs. 7 day no quibble return. 12 month warranty.
Same rights as if you bought new.
Have bought a few things from them.0 -
