Well as predicted I've overspent again:o by £112!

£75 was on the bonecracker so that's allowed I think and fingers crossed, if I'm careful, I shouldn't need to go and see her again too soon.

The remainder was on a takeaway, a pub crawl and a restuarant meal - yum yum. It was the month for birthdays with Mums, Dads, Nans and Great Aunts 60th hence all the eating out and enjoying myself :D I was very chuffed that both Nan and Aunt got £10 M&S vouchers courtesy of Pigsback - my first neutral pressies of the year.

    Wedding Update:

We've booked our photographer and just need to send them their deposit. It'll be £850 for their time and a CD of all the photographs to do with as we wish. Seeing as we were budgeting £1000 for this we are very happy. :D

I've met several very nice florists who all generally quote around £250 for the flowers (apart from one very down lady who ummed and ahhed at £400!). So its down to who I like really *rolls eyes* I'm don't really like making desicisions

Dad transferred £4,000 into my account last week to pay for the wedding - I know I'm very lucky to have such a generous family - I've decided to put £3,600 into an ISA for OH this tax year so that I earn a little interest on it and the nasty tax man doesn't get too much. :D its an easy access so I can get the money out when the bills start coming in.

Oh, and I've just remembered I need to order the paper I want so we can start printing and making the invites, i think they should work out at about £1.50 each.

March looks fairly quiet so far...just a hair cut, Mothers day and a 'house' party in the diary at the moment. My Regular Saver has been bumped up to the max £250 per month with my bonus and this goes in the op fund:dance:

I'm hoping to have time tonight to go over the spreadsheets tonight to make sure its all happy and am working on a months meal plan so I hopefully only have to go to the supermarket once.

Hope everyone had a good Feb!

I'm feeling all optimistic after a nice weekend. We managed to tidy up the garden (my peas are sprouting too!)and after a trip to IKEA do some DIY jobs.

I am now the proud owner of a new chair cover, kitchen container, bathroom shelves and doors on the study cupboards:D It means that we spent a fair bit of money but with not paying council tax this month our bank balance doesn't cry so much.

Thanks to Martin I opened the ING account before the £20 offer closed and fingers crossed I'll be a little richer soon.

Almost managed a NSD yesterday but completely forgot about my hair appointment and so ended up £7 cheaper. Most definitely worth it thou icon7.gif the amount of split ends I had after a year of no hair cuts!

When I asked her how much it would be for doing my wedding hair she said....wait for it..... :D £30 for me and £20 for each bridesmaid! :D

The other hairdresser I asked said £120 and £40 respectively !!!

So we're going to arrange a pratice morning to see how we get on. Oh, and we booked our florist yesterday too :D

I'm off to do some work now and get some bin bags later. See you later

    Thanks SMF2

Well, I've been swimming and kept (apart from a few biscuits) to my healthy eating plan so far this week.

I'm the proud owner of some new hanging baskets ready for the tomatoes and treated myself to a new hellebore and rasberry cane:p

On the downside I'm feeling glum today which is probably a mixture of grey skies and the fact our BT line doesn't seem to be working.

So I reported the fault to BT who advised it was probably a problem with their line and would send an engineer out - no mention of any fees at all. Now I've received an email saying that while they think the problem is their fault if its not then they'll charge us for the visit

    Bah

Your 'smilies' made me smile SMF2 :D Where do you find them all?

Turns out it was BT's fault and so we're saved from a big bill and the phone is working fine now. *phew*

Lunch has succesfuly been brought in all week and I've manged to go swimming twice :j

I've bought my Mum some perfume for Mother's day and my friend an MP3 player for her birthday. There's £35 left in my budget to last two weeks which could be tough with the birthday meal and drink tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be fun thou:beer:

Hope you all have a good weekend!
