    Wasn't it a lovely weekend :j

I'm feeling rather chuffed although we are £85 poorer. The front garden has been de-grassed by way of lots of paper (free) and 10 bags of woodchip (£15). Its a little unslightly with wire netting (£12) protecting the chip from cats. But it's so tidy with picket fencing! (35) :T Nan is supplying a couple of ferns and lily-of-the-valley to plant out and I've a couple of lady's mantle spare too :D

The decking's finally done too  Potatoes and peas planted along with lots of clematis.

The bad news...I put on 1lb which served me right eating so much  and I over ate this weekend too.

I also pulled my back again - ow  but with Mum and Dad at the rescue the front garden was finished in a day (£11 for milk and tissues:p )

I spent the remaining £12 on our dancing lesson, two weeks off now and then apparently we're advanced

See you later - I'm off to pratice my fencing :rotfl:
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

    Phase 1 - Emergency Fund - Complete :j
    Phase 2 - £20,000 Mortgage Fund - Underway

I have thought it would be nice to learn how to lay a hawthorn natural hedge to make a good fence.... very low maintenance and if treated this way hawthorns will live a very long time. Left to grow untended they live I think only 80yrs ;)

If I could replace the 20+ fencing panels that way, I'd only be left with treating the decking and balustrades (shiver me timbers!)

    Morning!

Thanks for the tip jasmine, I'm actually a clerk and am sharing my friends password to use the online tracker - I'm too lazy to write everything down. :o
