Keep a check out in Staples stores, got a full boxed Mio 168 (with map software) recently which was a customer return for £180.00, it was up for £200 after being discounted as it had been opened, but when it was checked the SD card was missing so they dropped another £20Welcome, rogerramjet.

Hi all,
Just thought I'd throw in my experience. I bought a USB GPS adapter for my laptop on eBay (New) for 23 pounds with 14 delivery from Japan.
Autoroute 2005 for 40 pounds.
This all works a treat on my laptop and gives more detail than just about any in-car system that I'm aware of. Only drawback is the lack of voice commands but the tracking is superb. Also found with a friend that it's better than TomTom at recommending the routes you'd probably take yourself.
With an adapter and the software for PDAs which comes with Autoroute this solution will also work with my XDA.
Grand total price is under 80 pounds and it's all new and spanky.
Dre... and that's all I have to say about that.0 -

Hi Dre,
'a USB GPS adapter '
What is that exactly?
Is it just an adapter, or does it include the GPS?
