Thanks all. I've just phoned my sister to come and collect my card (I'm at work), so she can go and spend it on some expensive baby stuff very quickly!
And I think I will just be too embarrassed to ever go into my local Boots again.0 -

I agree, and honestly, I've been spending my points as fast as I get them now. I wouldn't even keep the £16.xx on there for long -- I'd spend it or buy a few JK nail fails to get enough for a lancome gwp or something. Ooh, you have enough for the new no7 mascara and gwp that comes out tomorrow!
Seriously, I think Boots should fix its systems and make its policies clear to customers and staff, and if they did that there'd be no need to punish customers as they seem to be doing. But they simply aren't going to do what makes sense; it's obviously not part of their problem-solving process. So I really hate to say it (or think of it happening at all), but I think more people will find their cards pulled in the next few months. The worst bit I think is if you lose your card, it would be a bit depressing to read this thread, and you'd miss the lovely people on here!
I love shopping at boots but for me the bargains are more exciting rather than collecting points, as i dont really use many extra points things as I would rather have real money in my pocket than money i can just spend at boots IYSWIM. How much would a lancome or clinique gwp and products set me back? Does any one know what they look like? Was thinking of getting some for my nan for christmas!?
It is quite worrying really as it makes us feel that we are doing something wrong but if it was really wrong then there should be a system in place to make sure tills dont accept more than one voucher of any one sort. Have the vouchers always said '1 per person'?

Hmm can I ask how small the 'brag book' was? I got one in Boots yesterday and it was £2.99 but on 342, def not bogof. It was a red xmas one, the right size for credit cards (and AC of course) did I miss out?:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Another question, Does anyone use Sure Deodorant. was going to add a couple to make my basket up.
Is it worth taking a pic of the new TB small cosmetic bag or have you all seen it by now."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. So do people think that if your points were taken off you for excessive use of vouchers from mags, you may be okay, I have used a lot of TS vouchers and am worried that i may get in trouble? xx
Not sure what you mean? Are you asking if we think you'd be able to argue your case successfully and get your points back? It would be worth fighting for, but I wouldn't count on it. Seriously, you'll most likely be fine (unless something happens to draw attention to your account, like an SA taking down your ad card number -- then I'd be worried). If you're scared, don't hoard points. I really don't even see the purpose of hoarding points even if there wasn't the threat of a Boots hit squad swooping in to pop a cap our Bootsing.0 -
No I was asking if i would get in trouble for using too many vocuhers. I have not been asked for my number or anything like that so I should be okay. Thanks for your help xx:jHas saved so much money since joining this forum, thanks to all you kind people out there :j0
