I did join the PC but then I took myself off on the old site and since logging onto the new site I cannot see anywhere if I am a member or not, I dont want to be but there isnt an option for me to cancel my membership, so does this mean that I am no longer in PC? I dont know about anyone else but i dont like the new website! xx
You need to be logged in to see your details.
Click on Mother & Baby, select Parenting Club from drop-down menu and scroll down the page to Click here to update your details (on the lower right of the page) If you are still a member you will see a check box to leave the PC, if not then you aren't a member.

  • its very odd that they dont tell you untill you have a lot of points as well:mad:
True. I wonder if it's large points balances that are being investigated.
I spend mine as soon as I get them, I'm useless at saving points when there are treats to be had, instant gratification or what? :rotfl:

    You have PM back ;)

Morning mrsbluebear - morning all :)

Just read about yet another card holder having problems, so I put my specs on and looked for the magnifying glass - that's true btw :D to read all the small print ;)

I've never bothered reading the small print before (too difficult) but when I was looking through the new magazine, there's a bit about meal deals on page 104. It says meal deals are £2.99 but there's a provision thing made - that was a 2 magnifying glass job lol, but the gist of it was that meal deals are £2.99, but in London and UK airports £3.49

There's yet another * proviso saying Exclusions apply, see in store for details.

I'll ask instore because I've never seen any 'exclusions' so they must be in small print too  :rotfl:

I know it's only a minor thing and probably something that most people won't bother too much about, (I won't and I doubt most peeps will) but there's always the people that pop in with just 3 quid in their pocket and they might be out of luck, or possibly embarrassed by it all.

Phew ... all that for approx 30p lol :rotfl:

    Off to catch up :)

  • Morning peeps.

Just a word to the wise for anyone who has removed themselves from the Parenting Club through boots.com.

A friend of mine did this several weeks ago, tragically her baby was stillborn. Rather distressingly for her Boots were still sending her PC mailings. She has just looked again online and it appears she is still a member of the PC. She's just unsubcribed again, I can only imagine this must be a glitch that occurred when account data was being transferred to the new .com site, one of several c**k ups judging by the problems others are experiencing with their accounts on the new site.

If you have removed yourself from the PC for whatever reason then please check that your info is up to date on .com or through the Extra Offers kiosk. It would be very hard for you to prove that you had unsubscribed on the old site if MrB accuses you of fraudulently still being a member in the future.

Maybe MrB should be keeping his own house in order before randomly punishing members of the AC scheme, as seems to be happening recently. Really, this is starting to to look like a real mess, members having their AC cards withdrawn, wrong data on the system, over 60's HC discounts added to young members accounts; what's going on MrB?
Very sorry to hear about your friends baby geordie_lass xxx
Thanks for reminding me to check my account, when i called cs the other day she asked my babys due date as a message had popped up saying i had an invalid due date on my account. I said i wasnt in the parenting club:confused: She said oh yes thats fine, looking into your account theres nothing wrong...
I did join the parenting club then unjoined when i realised DS was too old! (3)
This was about 6 months ago! But just logged onto my account and i have a due date thats my birthday!! and apparently 2 other children, both ds's birtndate but one 05, one 06:rolleyes: This new website seems to have really messed accounts up!!

    Evening all,

I have finally managed to wrestle the keyboard from Mrs BTVB, and feel it is high time I posted my recent(ish) shops.

    [snipped ...]

Hi and just out of curiosity (as my OH [strike]gets dragged along[/strike] shops at Boots with me and for me ;)), has your ACM started dishing out vouchers for handbag dot com? I was :rotfl: when I spotted it on the screen when OH put his card in :o lol.

And good luck to the Mrs. I'm not sure why she needs it but I hope whatever it is she needs it for is all good :)

    Hi,

They hold 6" x 4" size photos, so sound a bit bigger than yours. They only had lilac in my store, but I have previously seen them in lots of colours - blue, pink, silver and black I think :)

aah thanks, yeah its a lot bigger, mine was just credit card sized,I did have a look and couldnt see any others that small. dont feel hard done by now :j

I agree. It would be interesting if anyone comes on saying they've had their points confiscated when they've only had a few on their card. I'm spending mine as I earn them.

Also: I actually threw away a skincare tillspit when I got home as couldn't anything less than 7.99 in my local .

I went to my local Boots today to try and get rid of all the skinecare vouchers I had and have ended up coming out with two more . Anyway my best bargain was a bottle of YSL Babydoll, the sel still said £7.13, the SA scanned and it came up at £28.00, I pointed out the sel and she sighed and said I'll have to give it at that price :j. Paid with the points I got from the time delay stuff I bought, I am really no good with keeping points! So complete bargain, and another pressy put away for xmas :j
Finally, I can see you crystal clear
