Hmm can I ask how small the 'brag book' was? I got one in Boots yesterday and it was £2.99 but on 342, def not bogof. It was a red xmas one, the right size for credit cards (and AC of course) did I miss out?
Hi,
They hold 6" x 4" size photos, so sound a bit bigger than yours. They only had lilac in my store, but I have previously seen them in lots of colours - blue, pink, silver and black I thinkYou can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Morning peeps.
Just a word to the wise for anyone who has removed themselves from the Parenting Club through boots.com.
A friend of mine did this several weeks ago, tragically her baby was stillborn. Rather distressingly for her Boots were still sending her PC mailings. She has just looked again online and it appears she is still a member of the PC. She's just unsubcribed again, I can only imagine this must be a glitch that occurred when account data was being transferred to the new .com site, one of several c**k ups judging by the problems others are experiencing with their accounts on the new site.
If you have removed yourself from the PC for whatever reason then please check that your info is up to date on .com or through the Extra Offers kiosk. It would be very hard for you to prove that you had unsubscribed on the old site if MrB accuses you of fraudulently still being a member in the future.
Maybe MrB should be keeping his own house in order before randomly punishing members of the AC scheme, as seems to be happening recently. Really, this is starting to to look like a real mess, members having their AC cards withdrawn, wrong data on the system, over 60's HC discounts added to young members accounts; what's going on MrB?

Will they just remove the extra points that I wasn't "entitled" to (about £20-30-worth), or all of them?
Hope it all works out for you. If it was me I would spend the lot now and not risk them taking them all. I would be gutted for this to happen to me ( which it won't as I have spent them now:D )0 -

We're (well, me anyway) probably all feeling a little bit paranoid to be honest and I bet most of us will never have anything to worry about. However...... I'd rather be paranoid than gutted to lose that sort of amount of points
I'm not telling you what to do, of course, but in your position I would get spending those points asapYou can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

I did join the PC but then I took myself off on the old site and since logging onto the new site I cannot see anywhere if I am a member or not, I dont want to be but there isnt an option for me to cancel my membership, so does this mean that I am no longer in PC? I dont know about anyone else but i dont like the new website! xx:jHas saved so much money since joining this forum, thanks to all you kind people out there :j0

My mindset has very much changed now. What's most important to me is getting bargains and the most I can for my moneyEver since all the "points hoo-haa" has begun I too have been spending them as quick as I'm collecting them - as soon as I get to £15-£20 then I'm getting rid of them. It's just not worth the risk imo. I too agree that it seems like MrB is cracking right down on ACs and points and I'm not risking losing mine.
Just my opinion of course, but I would urge anyone with a large amount of points on their card to seriously consider spending them because there seems to be no rhyme or reason to why points are being confiscated. Boots can withdraw the points from any card for any reason at all, it would seem. So, even if you've done nothing wrong at all (never used more than 1 mag vch, never done more than one 'glitch' etc...) I would still urge you to start getting rid of them asap.
its very odd that they dont tell you untill you have a lot of points as well:mad:***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -

At Christmas when I was trying to return an item I only had my receipt with me. She was able to put my card number into the till from the receipt and it brought up all my transactions - she even printed them out on a receipt:eek: . I never ran so fast in all my life!!!!!!! Included was all the bonus points used etc.0 -
