  • Morning all

Summermoon - I too have kids that are early risers. Unfortunately DS calls "mummy" and I normally find him with a very dirty nappy!!!
Denise - you must be proud of your son. He looks so pleased with himself too.

Right we have no real plans today so I m hoping to get something done between entertaining DS and feeding DD.....speaking of which I will have to post my list later she has woke up.

    Beany x
  • Morning all
I can't belive I'm already showered and dressed and DS1 was up at 7am had both breasts then has gone back down
DS2 is still asleep! Can't belive that, he's usually up at 7.30am, just enjoying the calm - Aahhhhh, but it won't last!

denisef - thankyou for your comments, lol about the trampoline scenario - but it's true what you say, he's such a contented, healthy looking baby and I'm not as worried now.
Also congratulations on your son, lovely picture.
It's so easy to forget the purpose of this thread I'm with you on that one, was lol again! Looks like more like the parenting and daily rant forum! It does keep me sane though being able to talk to adults for a change.

DeniseNZ - were you really up and flying at 2.38am!

hollyh -that's a very long list - good luck!

SummerMoon - "Why do i have to have the only kids on the world who get up with the larks?" You don't, usually mines up at 6.30am on a Sunday - I'm beginning to think he does it on purpose. Normally DS1 is up at 7 and DS2 is up at 7.30am which isn't so bad I suppose - still can't hear the patter of tiny feet this morning - Bliss!

AnW's Mum's mum! - Happy, happy, happy birthday to you! Enjoy the day. :bdaycake:

Right breakfast and then I'll start - I have a very long list today as well, so I'll post back when I've struck off some. DS1's nursery teachers are coming over for a home visit at 10am, so will need to get him up, showered, dressed and fed too.

    Bye for now XxX
Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:

Morning everyone, gonna be a busy day here today. My fridge is suppose to be delivered today:rolleyes: mind you this is the 4th delivery date. Need to go to the bank later as well as do as much flying as possible as the builder is to come up today sometime, hopefully in the evening. Need to photocopy the plans so that i can contact more builders.

So any HHC count me in unless i'm doing the school run. I've had a quick look through the thread but can't i for the life of me remember what everyone has said, i've a memory worse than a goldfish.:rotfl:

Right better hurry kids up and get them ready for school.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Good morning all

I just wrote a whole bit about what Ive done since I got up at 7 and then I closed the tap (duh)
So here's the short of it:
Denisefowler he looks so proud of himself:j
G&B I use this site for chiili recipes in the sc. take your pick-its got a huge variety. It is american but then I when cooking in the slow cooker I usually just judge by eye-and when you're dealing with spoons its pretty simple.
Remember that in the states they call the SC a crock pot so if you google that you'll get TONS of recipes! They LOVE their slow cookers-as do I:)

Greenbee - I have a service contract with British Gas - 3 star and they come out for free. While this isn't cheap it does give me peace of mind. Boiler was serviced over the hols though! My problems will arise if the fault is electrical and 'outside' the boiler but I have changed the fuse in the socket - 3A - that was a surprise! and still no juice. I checked the main fuses and it's on the ring and everything else is ok.

Whoever posted about not wiping plants - stick 'em outside in the rain! Then they get a good wash!

Thanks Polka I knew the D stood for darling but for the life of me I couldn't remember F was the abbreviation for Fiance! Thick or what!
Hey AnW'sMum wish your mum a happy birthday - guessing, if you're on your own with two littlies you appreciate her - I would have gone under without mine. DD was 8, DS 10 when MrV went.

Post edited to saycongrats.gifto Flower's DS. Bet it was worth all the stress you went through to see him up there, his work, application and effort acknowledged!
