My best efforts at clearing the drain have failed so I've called out British Gas - I have drains cover with them. They'll turn up at some point tomorrow. Fortunately, the painter should be round most of tomorrow painting the house (the forecast is dry fortunately) so I won't have to wait in which is a relief.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Just having a little break. I've picked the rest of the tomatoes to ripen indoors and removed the plants. One bowl of them prepared for soup which I'll bung on next.
Soappie at least the forcast is set dry for the decorator - very lucky considering the summer!
Fight GP finished to DS1 can get the mower out and DS2 can help me wash the paddling pool one final time and hope it drys and gets put away. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I try not to campare my home to others - it's clean and tidy enough for me and my family and friends, so that's good enough for me
The lovely people on the Flylady thread are a great help when I need that extra push :A so I'll add this thread to this week's Flylady

You know what I love about college? That I can leave the house tidy(ish) and it stays that way till we get home. Those two little darlings are going round behind me undoing everything I acomplish!
College is great, really enjoying the course and made a friend. Business is interesting... going well but a few things coming up, nothing too bad just more work... for me! I do all the admin so I'm the one who runs around dealing with this letter and that letter. Still, I do enjoy it and money wise it is picking up, so far no losses and enough coming in to cover the outgoings.
DS1 is at after school club so although he can be cranky as hell when I pick him up, he is enjoying it. Lots of excersise which is great as he was starting to be a bit of a computer game slob.
DS2 is doing AMAZING at nursery. He is in 5 full days (I'm at college 3 days and the other 2 he is in 9.30-3.45) College pays for 3 days and the nursery got permission to give him 2 government funded places wed and fri so I only pay for lunch cover. This is because his speach is improving so much being at nursery. It is doing him so much good. I miss him being iwth me all the time right enough, but I can't give him half of what he is getting there. The difference is amazing.
OK, floors done, sofas done....still lots to do....0
