The baking? Yes, watching DS run around in the petting farm? Yes, watching him roll around on the grass? Yes....
    Losing the competition?YES YES YES...
I didn't win,a plate of lemingtons made with rum won. But, it was like going to a MacDonalds in a prom dress really. I was even asked twice if this was my profession? I was too nervous to watch the judging but DF did and told me that the faces were priceless-even when they did the tasting. Although the girl who won did happen to mention to her mates before they got to mine that she bet it tasted awful inside:rotfl:
I gave my card to a few people and there were a bunch of kids there who really didn't give two about the other entries-did I mention though that there were only about 5 entries anyway?
Yes, it was fun-Im feeling very proud of myself right now :D

Mum's birthday went very well, thanks for all the good wishes. We had a lovely Italian meal and she was surprised to see her best friend, bro and sis there so result :)

Had horrible news this afternoon though, my friend who lives in Dubai is back home as her elderly mother fell down stairs on Thurs and broke her neck in two places and is now paralysed from the shoulders down :( She lost her husband at the start of the year as well.
