A & W have had a PJ day, they are now showered and watching Top Gear before bed. I shall be watching Casualty and taping it for them (if it's not too graphic) We all watched it last night, almost gave them both nightmares when they saw the girl hit by the ambulance and Tess getting impaled. Spent ages telling them it was just a programme and how they will have set it up to film the scenes. Had I known/guessed before I would have told them to look away.

    Well done Polka!

It looks like your new career is now beckoning! You have every right to feel proud! When's the next competition?

Im not sure, although I have learned something-I need to be specific about going in for cake decorating and not just baking... I did ask but she said I could enter whatever I wanted:rolleyes:

Mum's birthday went very well, thanks for all the good wishes. We had a lovely Italian meal and she was surprised to see her best friend, bro and sis there so result :)

Had horrible news this afternoon though, my friend who lives in Dubai is back home as her elderly mother fell down stairs on Thurs and broke her neck in two places and is now paralysed from the shoulders down :( She lost her husband at the start of the year as well.

tragic news - big hug for your friend

AnW'sMum that is such a sad thing to happen, I hope they all get the support they need.

Polka well done you, your post sounds full of enthusiasm

DS3 in the bath. DS2 back in bed, no tea, has an awful headaches, wants the lights out and silence. I've checked him all over for a rash - as you do - he is a really headachy child so this is not totally unusual, I'd be really worried it it was one of the others.

I'm going to do my weekly ironing session now, I have two hours before my ebay items finish so I'll be back in time.

AnWsMum pleased your Mum had a good birthday - so sorry about your friend's mum - sending hugs.

Polka fab cake - shame they weren't more specific about the baking as opposed to the decorating - but sounds like you have a career. Clever girl for taking - and handing out cards! Presumably business link are supporting you in this?

DD is just going to get ready to traipse off for shower at Ma and Pa's as must I!
See you later -maybe on a shiny new thread!
