So far this weekend I've done two loads of washing (and got them dry!), DW, hoovered up a giant spider and packed a suitcase for next weekend (holiday with parents and little brother in the Lake District) and delivered it to my brother in Winchester to bring up with him as I'm going up to Leeds on Tues pm for work, then Lancaster on Wed pm, so won't be coming home before the holiday. Also visited a friend who has a new baby, and my cousing came to stay (and has now gone).

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
All the dusty people have now got DS3's cold so we all have sore throats, sore ears and most are coughing. DS2 has gone to bed and is asleep - not great.
Sausages and mash for tea and I'm just going to make gingerbread men if DS3 will read first. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
greenbee - yes thanks to you and everybody on here i am on the right track just have to not fall off!! (well not too often or too much) dont go overdoing it with the flying or you wont be able to enjoy your holiday! hope you have a lovely time and the weather is good for you.
Half the battle is not trying to do it all at once - I read this somewhere (i think it was on the flylady site) and it so true - your home didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect to get it straight overnight - or words to that effect!!! You dont always see results straitghtaway and thats when i think I get a bit demoralised then HEY after a few days/ weeks whatever doing little baby steps at it you suddenly see the differences and enjoy them - if that makes sense?
I have semi=skimmed milk that has gone off - should I be thinking scones or something? I should be over on the foody threads asking this?!

Dusty - hope you and yours are feeling better v. soon.
Valli - I've just realised the yin-yang of yours and my situation. Neither of us can use hot water - you because you haven't got any and me because although I have oodles it just ends up all over the garden. Maybe we should have a sweepstake on who's BG man will turn up first!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hiya everyone
I'm going to try and get on later to catch up but in the mean time hugs to all who need them.
We've had a lovely day here, dry and sunny, so we spent it in the garden. Both children love gardening so we've let DS 'trim' the front hedge. Bless him, took about three hours and it's better than we'd do as he did one twig at a time!!! DD potted up three pots with siclamin (sp?) and viola and did a great job! I've cleared the front side border and that's going to be my 'celebration' garden so it's got 35 new miniature daffs and a wooden trough with siclamin in. Looks lovely.
Would anyone like some nearly new (worn about three times) size 3 pink crocs. I think they're a small size so might do a size 2 or even 1. Let me know and i'll post them off.
Speak later xxxxxx0
