Still haven't finished DD's bedroom but it's getting there. DH said to me yesterday - are you going to sort out DD's bedroom today - I said why've I got to do it? - he said because I don't know where anything goes!

DH has now gone to Hanley to do some shopping as he need a new watch battery. He was supposed to just nip to Asda to get a cooked chicken (I didn't get one yesterday when I did the food shopping) and his paper which is 5 mins down the road. He then rings me to say I'm in Hanley do we need anything! We could have all gone for a mooch around Hanley. I suppose he'll be back for 1 for the start of the race!

He has done some ironing this morning and he does sometimes do the washing up before he goes to work but I think he forgets that I only finish work 30 mins before he does if he finishes at the normal time. I know he starts before me but that just means he doesn't get the kids sorted for school and doesn't do the packed lunches. He comes in from work and unless he goes and cleans the dogs' run out he just sits in front of the TV all night but then complains if I'm on the PC!

Sorry the house's a pigsty and I seem to be the only one doing anything and it's getting me down!

    Anyway, anyone for a HHC 12.15 - 12.45?

Think I was born with the 'guilt factor'................I never seem to do much housework and I'm afraid I'm one who waits till it gets so bad I can't stand it..........then I get stuck in and feel proud of the result.

Good tips there..............must make a note of them. Should make things a bit easier for me..............lol

I've got the grass cut. Yes, it was wet but it never really seems to dry out at this time of year. The sun has gone in now but the wind is picking up so maybe that will help to dry the ground out a bit.

The washing isn't dry yet but it's getting there.

juliejim - I think most of us are on our own when it comes to housework :(

I'll join you (only a bit late!) - I need to wash up and then put yesterday's washing away and then shower!

  • Hugs Juliejim - I've been there so many times

I'm still sat at computer in my dressing gown but have chased DS EMA which wasnt worth the phone call as all she could say was should get something in 7 - 10 days if not call again  !!!!!!

And I have updated all my spends on computer Grocery spends so far up to £156 but I suppose we are halfway through the month.

DS is home and was shocked to see me sat around in DG (would love to think that stood for Dolce and Gabanna :rotfl: ) and DD has disappeared and has been too quiet for a while, Oh dear better go investigate as that usually means trouble.

See ya later when I'm all nicely showered etc
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Well I'm back - the floor is now clear just needs hoovering but there is a pile of stuff on the landing that needs sorting out which I just flung through the door as I was sorting and there is stuff on the bed but most of that I will leave till I've hoovered!

Think I'll start the veg now as I'm assuming DH will be back in time for the race with the chicken and I'm hungry!

before the HHC I did 30 mins on ebay - I likethis idea - thank you Soappie!!

Once I have had my soup I will be ready for a 30 min slot or HHC - 1.30-2.00??

Well DH isn't back so he obviously hasn't come back for the start of the race. Veg is on anyway so won't be long. I'll ring DH and see how long he's going to be as the kids are starving!

Sorry toots I'm hoping to be having my dinner then!
