**waves down the street at pigpen** I am sure there will be plenty out celebrating this evening in 'ull :rotfl: DP took 4 proud Dad's to the football this afternoon, all Dad's of Hull players going to St James' Park. He was chuffed because he got to drop them off in the VIP bit and admire all the nice cars
Right DS has bribed me ino letting him watch Neverending Story, must admit I used to love the film as a child, so that finishes about midnight I think. May aswell get some studying in while he's quiet, mad dash to the loo first I think, in my PJsthey're eeyore ones :rotfl:
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Evening all
Can anyone tell me why this is tiny? Anything else I open is OK size, but MSE has gone miniscule and very hard to read.
Hope everyone is OK as I'm finding it hard to read posts. Flying fizzled out apart from dailies, but the decorating is going OK.
I'd arranged to pick DD up in Bristol last night at around 1.00am, but she text to ask if I could go early as she didn't feel well. I got there about 10.30 and she couldn't stop being sick. Anyway, long story short - eaten normally all day, drunk 4 glasses of wine, D & V, pain around navel and down into right side. I spoke to DH on way home and he said A & E, DS was in car with me as well and DH met us there. I was worried it could be her appendix. What she hadn't told me was she'd been like it for 10 days! She's recently been to Turkey and the doc said she had picked something up, so she's on anti-emetics and something for the cramp, but she's to take a sample to the GP for testing. Neither her nor her friend had any injections to go as they didn't think they needed them, and DD is terrified of needles anyway. I felt a bit of a Numpty, but the doc was lovely and said it was best to check (her symptoms were very similar to mine when my appendix burst):o
The soon-to-be study is coming on nicely, but I'm putting a hold on moving the furniture. Decided it would be a good idea to borrow it as a dining room while I decorate in there and the lounge. It'll give me more room to manouevre, then when that's all done I can move the study furntiture. :j I'm Ace!
DH has also been working hard constrructing our raised vegetable bed. Tomorrow he'll be putting down the laminate flooring while I do some Flying to try and catch up.
I'll say goodnight now, hoping you are all well. Hugs all round. I;m off to do another coat of paint before bedtime, but I'd love it if someone can tell me how to make this bigger again.
Have a look at this

Hi ladies.
Haven't posted for a couple of days again, mainly as my RSI is flairing up at the moment again, surprisingly not from typing but from carrying DS2 all the time i think, as it is my left arm i hold him in so i can do stuff with my other arm, so trying to take it a bit easier this weekend while DH can help me.
got a few jobs done since last posting:- DS2 taken to baby clinic and weighed - 17 Ib11oz now - no wonder my arm is giving up
- took the boys to work so i could have a nosy at the new school building- it was a work in progress still at 3pm Friday so i don't know how it will be ready for kids starting on Monday, but supposedly it will
- wrapped birthday pressie
- I did one load through WM today - DH did 3, and put them on the line for me, some not dry but they can go back out in the morning
- took both boys to a party today
- DH cut the grass and weeded/pruned the front garden
- made a fish pie plus a couple of mini ones for DS1 for through the week
- meal plan for week done
- asked neighbours to feed our cats next weekend while we are away
- food shop done
- banana loaf made in BM
- made apple puree and pear puree for DS2
- spoken to mum on phone
- watched film - war of the world - very good
- I've managed to pack an extra box for the loft and get a HHI
- visit parents - was brothers 18th on Friday, and he passed his driving test on thursday so i could do with congratulating him
- change bedding on all beds
- wash load of bedding and load of towels
- get 6-9 month clothes out of loft - try to get vests/babygros washed and ironed this weekend
- put 3 packed boxes in the loft
- make roast beef dinner tomorrow
- make parsnip and swede purees
- do some cleaning - not bothered where
- try to get DS1's room ready for him to move into
- put the cot base higher for DS2 to go in
- wipe up mould again in nursery
- pack for going away Friday morning.
- do a trial run of DS1s birthday cake to see if i can do it - 1 month to practice - bought this http://www.lakeland.co.uk/F/product/11521 and can't wait to see how it turns out and perhaps see if my choc cake recipe works in it. So will do a couple of trials i think
toots take one area at a time is my advice for now so you don't burn out - no-one can manage it all at one time, so do what you 'need' to first
lil-me sorry you aren't feeling well still
well done to anyone who has had a good go at the flying this week
right, bedtime in our house, how does it get so late?

I've had a lovely evening all thanks to Soappie, my eyes are hurting now though so going to put the washing on and head up to bed but I don't think I'll sleep - I'm planning a trip to bedfordshire!
Tomorrow another busy day. One at a bowling party then a golf lesson. One at a football match. One possibily at cricket. All with homework to complete and the grand prix to interupt them.
Toots. I have exactly the same time management problem. Some days I just let myself surf, potter etc - it's good for the sole. When I need to get things done I limit myself to 15 minute tea breaks at the pc and then go off and do HHCsThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
BTW - anyone on here from Southampton? Just found out that's where my Great Great Grandparents are from.
We all thought they'd been born and bred in Bath. Just shows how wrong you can be.

Hi everyone! (not that I think anyone will be up now!)
Here is what I managed yesterday..
Daily list:
[STRIKE]feed cat at least twice
Sort emails
Do any outstanding surveys
Ask OH to check tomato plants for ripe ones
Spray bathroom with bleach spray
Spend an hour doing reviews
Do my daily click thrus[/STRIKE]
and extras:
[STRIKE]write email to america asking where my goods are [/STRIKE]
file 10 peices of paperwork (keep ignoring this one )
[STRIKE]browse thru recipe books to find new meal ideas[/STRIKE] (who am I kidding, I am just addicted to recipe books!!)
find phone numbers for decorators (this keeps appearing on my list and I don't seem to be doing it!!)
[STRIKE]Play with new Energy monitor
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]update the cupboard/freezer lists[/STRIKE]
I was going to post todays list here too but I think I need a bit more time to work out what needs to be done!
Hugs

You must be having fun planning the new room arrangements even if it is a lot of work. But I've never heard of vegetable beds with laminate floors!:rotfl::rotfl:0
