I am in a constant state of worry and anxiety, I so want to sell, and worry so much that I wont be able to, starting to think about auction, but its not really an auction property, the only other option is to reduce heavily, its allready competitively priced. Other than that I guess I could rent it, but that just seems such a hassle.
No viewings booked in after the inital flurry.
So down, I cant tell you.

Oh Pawpurrs, we all have a sky falling in day (as I call them), The builder guy has not been in touch. With any luck he has been watching the news and may take a bigger hit on the house.

I don't think I am going to turn the news on for a while, which is not really hard in my house as Cbeebies or sport have priotity I don't really get a look in where the TV is concerned. That is another reason I want to move to have a second sitting room just for me lol.

Good luck you lot, I think we need it.

    Thanks Guys

Any one had any viewings this weekend?

It only takes one person to fall in love , and we will all be there.
For me it cant come quick enough.

  • I had a viewing on Wednesday night - an investment company. On Thursday the EA rang to say that the 3rd room was too small.

We then had a viewing on Friday - the couple seemed nice (but that doesnt mean anything does it). None of the EA round here open over the weekend so wion't hear anything until Monday anyway.

They were a cash buyer so would be ideal really.

Dont open at weekends? Thats the busiest time????
I was not best pleased to find out mine no longer opens on sundays.

  • House on the market since January. Started at 265, then 250, then 230, now accepted an offer for £210,000. A 21% drop from original, but at least its sold.

I expect ATLEAST a 30% drop when I buy again, so I guess its not the end of the world.
  • I know it's madness isn't it. We have 3 local EAs and 2 that are 'known' named EA and even they don't open at weekends.
To be fair, it's not busy here at weekends.

    :rotfl: well yes that's true

What gets me, is that a repo sold (STC) last week for only 5k less than what my house is on for. The repo was exactly the same layout as mine - the only difference being mine has more ORP and wouldn't need the front door replacing because whoever bashed it in made a right job of it.
