Any one had any exciting news any offers? Viewings? Movement?
Still waiting for things to move here, and still anxious!
Mums bungalow went on sale last Wednesday. We've had 3 viewings so far with another 2 lined up. The 1st couple to view, are coming back this evening with parents. Which sounds very promising. Not building up hope but they're a super couple, 1st time buyers and have their mortgage in place. Fingers crossed.

Well, just had a chat with the EA. I wasnt rude or anything but managed to point out that we had only had 3 viewings since Nov, how many sets of details had they sent out, we have dropped the price 3 times now but not been encouraged to or had any discussions about the house-hoped they hadnt forgotten us as they had only contacted us once since Nov (apart from arranging the 3 viewings) etc. She reckoned that they had sent out 90 sets of details, they hadnt forgotten us, she will have a look to see how many people had clicked through online, things are very slow, price is an issue (then 2 mins later) 'you are still competitively priced' blah blah. I dropped the price again though, its worth a try

Hoping to buy out HIP pack next month then can change agents (with hubby n son travelling up and down its been an expensive time, was hoping to buy out the HIP before now!). We have dropped from £152,000 originally (had 5 agents who all valued it around £155,000 but we were trying to be competitive!) to £139,950 today. Not bad for a 4 bed semi and big garden ;) Shame all we can get for that in Sussex is a postage stamp lol
  • put ours on market last august for 189,950, i thought it was overpriced so reduced it to 175,000, had several viewings, the house we wanted got reduced by 20,000 so reduced ours again @ christmas had 2 buyers both fell through, then @ easter got a buyer for ours @155,800 & haggled over a price reduction on the property we wanted, managed to secure a deal & now just waiting to exchange as all contracts have been signed, just need a completion date & then we move, fed up with all the boxes around the house.

We have had the fixture and fittings form from our solicitor and are busy filling them in. The owners of the property we put an offer in on are back from holiday tomorrow although I am not sure when tomorrow so hopefully Wed will hear something about our offer. Husband is very reluctant to pay any more than we offer if its refused so not sure what will happen. Just hoping we do get some answers sooner rather than later.
