Hung out washing, need to put some more in but need some stuff from the kids and they're all asleep still! Put on some more dough for french sticks in bm, curry doing it's thing in sc, and think that's it!
oh is just making me a coffee - after nearly 20 years together should he really be needing to ask how I drink it?! Gonna have a quick catch up and I'll be back, have a good day all xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Morning all,
Wet here again  , it has been pouring all morning, but its not cold. Don't think I will risk any washing today, I have towels to do, and there is no chance of them drying.
I am desperate to get out and pick some blackberrys, but they are just not ripe here, there is the odd one or two, last year there were loads, as someone else said I just don't think we have had the sun this year.
Whatatwit my dd has just gone into year 9, she has to choose her options this year, and she could only do the tripple science if she was in the higher groups, as for her knowing what she wants to do for a job, I am sure she will change her mind several times before then, but at least this gives her someting to focus on. When she was tiny she wanted to work in Somerfield, because they had swivle chairs, I think she imagined she would sit on it and spin all day
Not sure what is for tea tonight, might have pizza or might blow it and get a hot indian delivered
, tbh I feel a bit C**p again today, I know there are people suffering with much worse, so I will not keep on, but I just want to feel well again
Diva hugs to your kitty xx

Morning Everyone
Been up since 7 but only just got the energy to post. Had alittle bit to much vino last night and feel slightly under the weather this morning.
Its still raining here and I'm getting the feeling its never going to stop. I've put dd in long sleaves today as she will not keep a jumper or cardigan on. She looks very cosy in her velour dress and tights.
Plans for today include another trip to some different tile shops to try and get the kitchen tiles. Apart from that I'm waiting for dh to get up so I can strip our bed. Tea is likely to be fajitas as dd has decided she like them.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Can I join in please?

Plans for today -
My daughter has just started her first job this week as a nursery nurse. Keeping her at college for 2 years has been a financial nightmare!! I will be glad when she gets her first paypacket at the end of the month and stops asking me for money :T Anyway, she has completed her first week but today is the nursery fair and she offered to do a stall so we are taking her there first, then going grocery shopping with my brand new shiny list of hints and tips from here!! I need to cut down a LOT
but as suggested somewhere, I am not doing it all in on go but gradually. No more M&S food halls for me and a back to basics attitude of more home cooking from now on:eek:
Then we are picking up our daughter and she wants to go to Hobbycraft. We are both making jewellery to give as Christmas presents this year and she wants to get some stuff.
When I get time today I am going to make a load of handmade cards to box up to give as gifts at Christmas - another tip I found on here :T
Weather is lousy [as usual]
I hope everyone has a good day

Morning all:hello: Thank Crunchie it's the weekend work has been very stressfull this week.
Washing machine has been on and I have been debating the BM too. DW needs unstacking and DD2 is still in bed! I must get her up as her friend is coming to take her round to her house for the day. That should mean I get lots done today :j
Taplady - hugs for you - I saw the floods on the news I hope you aren't too badly affected.
Sammyjig - I hope your OH improves quickly hugs for you.
Celyn get some sleep woman!!
I hope everyone has a lovely Saturday and hugs for those I have missed. ETA - Welcome fluffybishop - great username!0 -
Morning all
Well last night I slept - which is the first decent night for about a week - I feel so much better for it! Poor Celyn - I feel for you - I hope you manage to catch up later...
wmf - I can't give up sugar in tea either, especially the first cup in the morning. I can drink green tea with mint without sugar but it's just not the same as that first, sweet in-bed cuppa!!
No particular plans for today other than housework catch-up. back at work = no housework to speak of in the week and a rush round at the weekend. I just can't seem to be more organised than that. Also trying for two NSD's this weekend so will delay the weekly shop until Monday. Time to be creative with the cupboards.
Have a good day and hugs all round;
PO xx

It has finally stopped raining here so will hang out some washing while I get the chance.
Had some tea and DH want to go look at log cabins again so will pop out with him.
When we eventually sell his house and get one with a garden he wants a log cabin he can do paper work in and a shed to do messy stuff in.
At this rate he should have years to make his mind up!!!!;)
Hugs to everybody and see you later."This site is addictive!"

Morning, it's a bit drizzly out there, I can only hope that it doesn't rain too much as the house seems to have morphed into a sieve and is springing leaks all over.
We knew about one drip on the top floor and we have put a dustbin under that, when I went up to check and empty the bin, I heard dripping from the middle floor....yep another leak. So, I've put a large container under that one and then I found water coming in at the windows in the back
There was also a little bit of water on the kitchen floor, but I'm not sure if that had dripped of me or was coming from the roof.
Think I'd better try and find a friendly roofer
I tried the central heating last night and it didn't work
so looks like I'll be able to postpone putting that on for a while. It is our only source of heating so I'll look out for another hot water bottle in the pound shops today. I've no doubt Mr Twit could suggest some way of warming ourselves up in a morning
Love and hugs to those in need :grouphug:
The Twit.
Scuzz, I find it cheaper using those little phone cabins when I'm in Spain, you pay when you are finished, but it does usually display the charges as you go. Phoning mobiles was not much dearer than landlines. Have a great time and bring the sun back with you.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
