Morning all.
My positive mood didn't last long. DH has rung.He had a bed night, he now has terrible paid in the top of his leg and groin. He hasn't seen a doctor since 7pm Thursday so he is panicking. Hence, I am now panicking! No-one has explained to us what cellulitus is and what to expect so we don't knw if any of this is normal. I can't go to the ospital til 3pm this afternoon so I'm now sitting here trying not to cry and tellingthe kids everything is hunky dory!:)Do more of what makes you happy:)0 -
Morning all. We have sun, too, and a small section of the sky is actually blue!
Celyn - I hope you manage to rest up after that long shift.
Troo - that's fab news about your cards - well done, you!
Taplady - I'm so glad your DS got home safely.
(((Hugs))) to Smoky, PenPin, RedRuby, Jayward, Essex-girl's Dad and DH, Candygirl's Dad, Beth and her DBs and I know there's someone else but the name has gone right out of my head.
Churchmouse - :hello: :hello: :hello:
I actually gave in to the cold this morning and put the heating on for half an hour to warm up before I have a shower; I'm so cross that I did! I hope we're not in for a bad winter.
Well, today's plan is to make some cakes; the BM is on but I don't have enough washing for a load so I can't make the most of what looks like a good drying day.
DH is having to work all weekend to get a job finished on time but I don't really mind that because I can get on with loads of jobs that are on my never-ending list. I want to take stock of all the things I have in the Christmas stash and see how many pressies I can tick off and I want to spend the afternoon lazing around on the sofa knitting. I'm doing curry for dinner in the Remoska so I hope that turns out alright.
Anyway, I can't think of much more at the moment so I'mm off to have a shower now that it's warmed up here!
Have a great Saturday, everyone!

Sammy, I found this, I'm not one for taking internet stuff as gospel but at least it might help you a bit.
I meant to say the other day - when my mum first had it and they were doing tests, they picked up that she had diabetes. Since she's been controlling her sugar levels, the cellulitis hasn't come back.
I know it might be different for your OH but I thought this might put your mind at rest, at least til you can get to the hospital.

Morning All
Less than 12 hours and I'll be flying to Spain!!!:j :j Got my Euros yesterday, hopefully I won't spend them all. Can't wait for a week in the sun.
Need to somehow get my phone to work over there. Went to the T-Mobile shop, and they said it should be ready to go, but when I went out there earlier this year, it wouldn't even switch on. My sis has said I can get an international card to make it work
Had a go at a prize draw for Parkinson's Disease yesterday. Cost me 20p and got a whole book of tickets! If I win, that would be £100 - yes please!
At work at the moment, but won't get a chance to pop on here when I get home because of getting to the airport.
Hope everyone's ok
EDIT: thinking of you SammyComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
troo - well done with the cards
I found a card making book in the works yesterday and some of them are so pretty - I love looking at other people's designs. I noticed that about the berries too up here, it's just been too wet and they aren't ripening because of the lack of sun
SOMO1 - that's a cool present!
Sammyjig - hugs for you and your DH
My nephew started nursery yesterday and my little sister was really upset as she put him down and he just crawled away towards the shiny new things perfectly happily; far better than if he was upset at being left, I know, but she was still a bit down yesterday. She doesn't want to go back to work, but she can't afford to stay home.
I am suprisingly awake (which is very odd!) but I only have something small (albeit flammable ) to set up then I'm off home for some sleep. I'll be back later to turn the incubator off. Oh the joy. The worse thing is is that I'm only doing this bit of work to get someone else out of massive trouble. I don't want the hassle of it being uncomplete or training someone else up on this stuff now. So it's just a case of" if you want somethng doing....do it yourself"
He can be very unpredictable, so I don't want to leave any room for him to be upset.
have a good day everyone, cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Hello everyone, well so happy its the weekend, the house is a tip though so got to get down to it today and tomorrow cleaning and tidying. OH is at work this morning, so will pick him up at 12 and he wants to go to a shop that sells home brewing stuff, yes he wants to get into making his own beer - would work out cheaper. Its overcast and has been raining in MK, not clearing up yet. Think it is set in for the weekend. Duddles x0

Kathy that Remoska sounds great, one day I will make my mind up whether to treat myself to that or a slow cooker, which is more ecconomical do you think?
(BTW I am posting my boob today, have you finished yours yet)x
Off to mums in a an hour or so to take her shopping over, and do what cleaning she wants done, then over to MIL's and do the same for her. Hopefully back home then, and its the day we usually pop over the road to spend some time with the old couple opposite.
Their only daughter lives in Liverpool and they dont see much of her, so we pop in for a chat and a cuppa every week. They like to know what we have been up to, and it gives them someone to talk to.
O I lead such an exciting life, I can hardly contain myself sometimes:rolleyes:
roll on the holidays
ah well better go get ready, enjoy your day everyone,
Anne
