JamTart6- OMG Your list is huge! Well done though.

I haven't been on all weekend I feel as though the weekends go by in a second just now!

My targets for this week are:
    1. To cello up 5 hampers I've finished
    2. To find Bakugan sets as cheap as possible for my Logan
    3. To pay for Guitar Hero Band Edition - Out on Friday
    4. To locate the cheapest priced Ultimate Light Saber for my son Kaleb
    5. To locate Sportacus's skychaser for my son Jacob
    6. Clean out my bedroom again, between laundry and christmas presents there won't be room to sleep in there shortly :o
    7. To post 5 more items on ebay, to help pay for the above
    8. To buy 2 x Clone Wars PJs for my eldest 2, and buy sportacus PJs for my baby (aged 3)
I am out 3 nights this week - PTA Monday, Parent Council - Tuesday, and have to make up some "flexi" hours on Wednesday  , so think if I manage my list this week I'll be doing quite well.

Good luck everyone else - not long now, got a Countdown on my bebo page, and my boys have to check it everyday just now just to make sure it is counting down. They finally did their lists this week, and we emailed santa www.emailsanta.com they were so happy with their replies.

Kalojac - it helps me to break things down into tiny tasks - feel I do more then as they are less time intensive :D

Furrypig - well done to you for getting Christmas cards done :D

Well guys, today I spent 3hours wrapping in-laws presents. All the wraps ups are sorted, OH just needs to buy main gifts now which he will do nearer Xmas (typically male:rolleyes:). I also wrapped 2 of 5 friend's presents so I am really really pleased with myself.

I have had to change one of my Mums main gifts so I'm panicking a bit as I honestly have hardly anything for her as that was her main gift but she mentioned she'd gone off wine today  All ideas for Mum's welcome!!! :T

eBay items ended today - and probably made abour £65 overall. Quite happy but need to find a lot more cash to achieve my challenge of being 100% money neutral. Anyone know where a money tree grows please?? :o:D:eek:

  • Morning everyone!

Welcome to all those joining us! :hello:

Another weekend gone - time is going so quickly!

pinkladymel sorry you have been under the weather - hope you are feeling better.

sugarjen - is baby due 18th November or 18 December? (sorry if you've already said - this thread is so long) - anyway, good luck when the time comes!

findingmyfeet - have you got your DVD's back yet?

jamtart - just noticed number 29 on your list - well done so far!!

furrypig - what did people say when you gave them your cards? I was tempted to hand out a few but thoght I would be ridiculed!!

    From the weekend's list:-

[strike]1. Start writing letters to go in friends' Christmas cards ![/strike]
    [strike]2. Deep clean bathroom.[/strike]
[strike]3. Take DD1 to Rainbows party
    4. Remember to collect DD from party
[/strike][strike]5. Visit charity shops while she's there [/strike]- I'm looking for something to wear for a Christmas night out with my friends. I should really take my daughter with me - I call her 'Trinny' when we go to the charity shops because she can spot a sparkly dress a mile off! Her dressing up box is filled with some marvellous designer dresses (all too small for me of course!)
    6. [strike]Final Christmas present shopping tomorrow [/strike]- I am armed with my list and ready to go.
    7. [strike]DD1 to write some more cards.[/strike]
    8. Do some more Hama bead decorations.

Did quite well on my charity shop hunt - got a gold sparkly top which is quite Christmassy but not dressy enough for going out in. I also got a Fimbles Christmas video (50p), a tape of Christmas Carols (50p) - for the car (old car - no CD player!) and some snowflake Deely Boppers for DD1 (50p) although I may have to 'borrow' them at some point.

I also managed to get all Christmas presents bought except for what they ask Santa for - we do that next Sunday after DD2's birthday. Yippee!

    Have good day everyone!

    Love
    Gill

    OOh hiyah everyone

    tigger what's a deely bopper???

Got my hair done on sunday while husband finished my christmas shopping, and he got a few things for daughter but they were all reduced items so was happy with that. Just have a few more things to order over the next few days and the dvds that aren't out yet to buy but I have a list of the dates so I can get them straight away and then I'm done, gonna give myself til friday.

Jamtart - I love the idea of losing the weight so that I have a new set of clothes to wear for christmas. I'm starting today - I could lose a stone by christmas if I set my mind to it, as I have a lot to lose.

Got my hubbie tickets to see al murray the pub landlord on march 1st so am giving them as a big surprise present for christmas - he has no idea - can't wait for that.

I have no list today as I am exhausted from a busy weekend - so I'll get on with lists again tomorrow I think, good luck to everyone today with your lists, speak later xxx

    Morning guys

Everyone is doing so well on getting organised. I set myself back quite a bit this weekend. Tryed tidying my bedroom and made an absolute tip which I am goig to have to sort out tonight, Which will be tricky as I am going to see bf's band play. They are headling an unsigned night but really buzzing for them as it is a big venue to play in manchester when you are unsigned.

Dying to put my christmas dvds on but really trying to hold out till the 1st Dec.

I managed to do all my washing though this weekend, also picked up a perscription at my chemist and also picked up a top I had in for repairs so I have done well i reckon xxxx
