  • Good evening everyone. Just wanted to ask if anyone tried the christmas markets in Manchester in previous years. This year it's the first time we're going - very excited!!!:j:j:j Any tips, suggestions...? Thank you. xxx

We normally go first thing in the morning at weekend because it soon gets very busy and hard to move, especially with a large family to herd through. I have heard that its meant to be very nice in the evening with all the lights on.

    mumof4our - I found the info here: http://www.manchester.gov.uk/site/scripts/documents_info.php?documentID=1654
It seems like there will be a number of different Christmas markets around Manchester city centre - just wanted to know what's the best, what to to try and what not. I am really looking forward to the German one as I think the Germans, the Swiss and the Austrians do the best Christmas markets. I think we'll go to all the markets as it's all happening around the city centre - so we shall try them all. :j

You people are making me feel ashamed, how on earth do you find the time to do all of this?? I dare not do a list as I will feel inadequate when i have not managed to achieve any of them.
Good luck to you all, I think you are all brilliant - I'll skid into christmas day on my bum half dressed with a look of panic on my face - as usual :)

sounds brilliant to me KandiPandi. I never get my list done but it makes me feel better to know I have written down the important nagging jobs I would like to do before I forget them. Also.. I need to lose about 7 stone so there is one thing you are doing great at that I suck at!!

Really LoL'in and the end of your post. I always plan to dress nice for photos and end up a scruff in my pj's!

Pinkladymel - Good idea about buying things to sell with Boots points! Never thought about doing that! I usually save them for the 75% sale day, but I might end up making more cash from the sales of stuff I've bought with points and sold. I'll have to have a think about that one!! :D

Anyone who is following organizedchristmas.com's plans - today marks the end of their 'Get Organised Week' Checklist. Tomorrow begins the "Reality Check Week".

:rudolf:I can happily tick off 'Get Organised Week" now :)
