Woooo wooooo woooo I have today official finished all my christmas shopping. There is nothing left that I need to buy everybody is getting a gift I know they will love and I didnt skint my self over it. This is my first year of being organised, last year I was still buying presents the weekend before the big day. I have all the wrapping paper I need and wrote out all my cards. I do need to wrap them all but I am saving that for December. Its my second favourite christmas job after putting the decorations up.

Thanks for keeping me motivated you lot. All I need to do now is keep on top of all the house work so its gleeming when all the decs go up on the 14 of dec.

Big christmassy hugs to all of you xxxxx

  • I've bought all but two presents off my list and I've started buying tins, packets etc and stashing them away. I'm doing pretty well this year but now there is a blip in my salary until December 11th so i'm skint for the next 6 or so weeks. So will have to do a bit of a last minute dash around when I get paid but I'm going to try and buy one or two food items with my weekly shop so i'm not having to try and get hold of everything in December when the supermarkets are packed.

Hi findingmyfeet - sending lots and lots of love to you
(we had a border collie Arthur who had to be put down (old age) and it was very hard for us all. We still miss him :-(
You are doing really well with your list - I can't do the list as I know I would not get much done and so don't want to end up disappointed (a lot happening at the moment, hard to keep up sometimes). So well done!!!
I am getting a fleece jacket, 2x cords, thermals, Thornton's box of dark chocolates and a nice bottle of rioja for my DH. We do either consumables or clothes, or anything else that is on the dear Santa list :rotfl: (I am serious - everyone is doing one - really, it makes presents hunting for the grown ups so much easier believe me...)
    Lots of love and sparkle.
    xxx
