  • You can do a similar thing at FreeBingo.net, play free bingo and win points, the top points earners during the month get Amazon vouchers, £50 for top I think.

No slots tho' just good old free bingo.

Dunno who plays the Sun Bingo paper game, as they've also got games just like that, where you go back every day to check your numbers etc

Good fun, I won a £5 Wetherspoon Voucher in their weekly tourney last week - drinks are on me :-)

I like the idea of redeeming points mind so thanks for that Triggles.

My daughter has developed a huge interest in cooking, especially since going off to Uni-so I am tjinking of making her some sort of hamper? maybe spices and things that she may not have. She has also hinted at wanting a blender so am now on the look-out for a bargain if anyone has seen one!

Hi Suzi, I don't know if you're still looking for a blender (haven't made it to the end of this thread yet!) but I noticed one in Tescos yesterday for a tenner. I think it was part of their value range but it liiked like quite a good one with chopper attachment too.

Okay - my reward is to watch Cranford tonight with a nice glass of wine. Only thing which may stop me today is watching the F1 this afternoon - trying not to look at the news etc so its not spoiled! (actually looking at my list I think I could get a lot of jobs done whilst watching the Grand Prix!!) :T

Yay, another F1 fan! DH is taking DS away this weekend, I'm devastated as I've never been apart from him for so long but I do at least have a thrilling grand prix to look forward to. If I can time DD sleep accordingly I shall be writing Christmas cards and working on DS tiger sweater on Sunday afternoon. What result are you hoping for?

"What result are you hoping for?"

I am hoping that I will not get completely mad, bonkers, blaaah etc.by Christmas. My grandplan is falling apart, stuff's happening that I didn't count on happening, feeling completely helpless and overwhelmed, it all feels like one big mess. Just need to get my backside in gear again, somehow. Don't feel like any sparkle today :-( but tomorrow's another day - I shall try to get on if not for myself then for my family.
Oh and burnt the "test" pumpkin cake...AS WELL!!!

Suddenly went really dizzy then about an hour later threw up everywhere (sorry if you're eating!) and felt really dizzy all night. Felt like I'd really overdone the wine when really hadnt touched a drop. OH blames me 'doing too much' when in reality we had visitors yest afternoon so i did nothing but chat and drink coffee!

Hi ASC, thank you very much for the cyber hugs - got a biiig hug this morning from my DH, so I am doing allright with the huggingtons...:j
Well, I felt like a failure yesterday but my DH said that nothing is that bad anyways to be so stressed out and depressed about - so I am just going to get on today - again - as well as I can and hope for the best. And that cake - I forgot I put it in the fan assisted oven and the timings were for a standard oven then went to do the ironing and suddenly smelt something not very nice and there it was - burnt to a crisp. So one of my things to do today is to make another one - fingers crossed it'll be done to perfection :-)
Lots of love and sparkle to everyone.

You sounds like you have a lovely DH Jasmine and obviously he spurs you to carry on. I don't have the patience so once I had threw my failed cake in the bin there would be no more attempts LOL

The car parking fairies sound good. My husband would drive around and around all day if you let him, looking for car parking spaces. He can't see them for toffee.

Yesterday morning my modem packed in so had the cable men out today! It was scary having no internet!

I realised that I had taken no photographs at all for a month and that is a crime so I charged the camera and got a shot of my little 3 year old boy:

Yeh I have no carpet on the stairs haha

He doesn't look so little anymore :(
