Hi guys I am giving up on the weekly list. I always feel like I am in a mad panic to get it all done so I am going to join the daiyl listers.

What I need to do today is:
    1. Put white wash on when I get home.
    2. Clean bunnys cage.
Thats all for today, pretty easy.

Jasmine of the North The Manchester christmas market is one big market just spread out over Albert Square and St. Annes Square and the little roads joining them off. It all the German market. It is absolutly fab. I work on Albert Square so go to it all the time when its there and it does look amazing at night with all the fairy lights on. I would deffo recomend you try the hotchoclate stall on St. Annes Sq and also the steak hut also on St Annes. It does get bust at the weekends and dinner times in the week but is deffo worth a visit. Might bump into you on one of my visits :p

Shevs - daaarling - thank you very much for the info :A. We are sooo looking forward to it. We probably go twice - once in the day and then when the lights are on but also, I don't think we can take it all in in one day anyway. So can't wait. And you are so lucky working where you are - I bet you can see all the lights.
    Thank you again.

Yes, I decided to do the daily list, too as I cannot plan for more than a day ahead :-(
But the good news for me is that I got all the Christmas cards done, hampers are half-done (just the baked, cooked stuff to do yet), f+f "stuff" presents are done (wrapped and all) so what's left now is to get the tree, food and the telly on (god I hope this year there will be some good stuff on, I love various Christmas specials, period dramas and Xmas movies).

    So my list for tom:
    1. Finish off the ironing
    2. Chase the courier (my Halfost order went on a walkabout apparently - not happy at all)
    3. Get stuff ready for work on Wednesday
    4. Cook dinners for Thursday+Friday
    5. Hunt for a birthday present for bf + a nice sparkly card
    6. Hunt for more wood whilst out hunting for that birthday present.
&. Call my sis - sort out our list what's done and what not for mum's birthday extravaganza in 4 weeks time.
    7. Hairdresser appointment to make for Wednesday during work lunch break.

You people are making me feel ashamed, how on earth do you find the time to do all of this?? I dare not do a list as I will feel inadequate when i have not managed to achieve any of them.
Good luck to you all, I think you are all brilliant - I'll skid into christmas day on my bum half dressed with a look of panic on my face - as usual :)

Its amazing how much you can get done if you dedicate 20-30mins per day just doing Xmas/List stuff! Breaking it down into manageable bits helps too. It was nice to tick off "photograph ebay stuff, write ebay descriptions, list ebay stuff" (ie. 3 things instead of just one "put on ebay" !!)

    Whats wrong with:
    "7. shove clutter on ebay"
