    Ok have you got a router, if so is it firewalled at the router.

    Make and model please, also some more connection details
    PC make an model, ISP, Broadband?,, I know you may have
    mentioned all of this before...
  • 1. Start Internet Explorer.
    2. On the Help menu, click About Internet Explorer.
    3. The level of encryption on your computer appears next to the words Cipher Strength. Verify that the Cipher Strength value appears as 128-bit.
    4. Click OK.

    HP / wanadoo / broadband 1meg / no router - adsl modem.

    I can browse amazon but as soon as I want to log onto my account it tells me the page is unavaliable.
