  • you are a classic example of why a i threw my hat in!

You went and collected your hat again sharpish, though!
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

    Well it was nice.:D
+ It as been nice today to have a few people understanding where I am coming from.
Also I can see a pattern in certain posters (I did feel it was just me)

Don't you think you have a certain pattern?
You come, you go, you come back, do you do this to every forum

cos i'm sure it is you:p
Control is an illusion, chaos is the reality. A successful warrior dances with chaos, and success means simply that one is still alive.

When we bought our house we paid more than we should have done. The mortgage company valued it at what we paid and we were happy with that because we needed a house and no-one would rent to us. If we'd waited a while we could have bought much cheaper and have had a lot more savings towards a deposit but I don't mind this because we have our house, I like it and we can afford it. And I know we had no choice but to buy then and although we were first time buyers with 30% deposit we weren't in a good position to hang around while our lower offer was or wasn't accepted.

If you're happy paying £250k for a house that you might have got for £220k, and you can afford to have paid an extra 30k, what does it matter? Your in a house you like, and I suspect that if you owned a house before you could afford for the value to drop a bit before negative equity becomes an issue.

If I had not paid £250K I would have not got it at all (some one else had already offered that just that i could complete quicker). But thanks very happy with it.

Thinly veiled "I thought that I bought a house for a bargain but I'm not so sure now" thread IMHO
    Krusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:
"Buy now because house prices only ever go UP, UP, UP."

No - not very thinly veiled 'let's talk about me for a whole thread' thread, IMHO!
