But look at the alternative it's even worse:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I find growing old, almost as much fun as growing up ,but with the added advantage of knowing a whole lot more:rotfl: :rotfl:
In my head I am a skinny 17 year-old, although my body says I am a wobbly old 64 year old Stay positive that is the way to enjoy life .I am positively never going to be a size 10 again, so what, who cares, I don't.Life is far to short to worry about what size I am, or who has what, or has been where.
Today the sun was shining, and I am alive, that is what is important0 -

Happy Birthday! though it might be a day or two late.
:bdaycake: (is that your cake?!). :T - and the local shops are shut, so you just HAVE to go to CostCo and get a catering size one! :rotfl:
And thank you for your good wishes: you are a day or two late, but I wasn't at home much on the day, or since then, too busy enjoying the sun and going shopping for my present, which DH didn't want to buy on his own (and I'm glad I didn't let him!) Do you know, he'd never met the concept of the eternity ring, thought that buying the engagement ring and getting given his grandma's wedding ring let him off the hook for ever more in that department? :rotfl: And since we can't find a gold heart on a chain as nice as the one he gave me several years ago and then LOST when I went into hospital, a ring it had to be!
And silly me, I didn't ask the jewellers if they gave a discount for the over 50s. :rotfl:Still getting used to it, I guess!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Hmm, chocolate cake, do you want a visitor?!
But should you ever be in a position to get a chocolate fudge cake from CostCo, I can vouch for it tasting just as good on the last day as it does on the first. Not dried up at all! :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
