I suppose the deal is still possible, but I think you would have to cancel the account almost as soon as it was confirmed your wine would be on that way.
Once I realised that, I decided not to do it.
Thanks for pointing that out0 -

Well spotted daveybuk. Here is the link to the condition. Scroll down to to where it says

I applied on line and application accepted immediatley. Anyway will pay in my 1.5k and draw it out shortly afterwards. Also I made an error and applied for the account with a monthly fee. Spoke to customer service and said ring them before the end of the month and I can downgrade the account.
However wish I had read Martyns email properly regarding the £5.00 delivery charge.0 -
Hmm, good spot. Does that mean if you don't pay in the £1000 a month then the offer is invalid. I've just opened it and would have to put in £1000 this month and £1000 Dec.0

I'd like to know more about the £1000 monthly payments also.
However, what I'd really like to know is what wine are they giving away!!!! Any clues??

It actually states
'receive a regular payment (e.g. wage, salary, pension, etc) or at least £1,000 per month into your account '
So this could be less than £1000 a month a presume.
I am now getting confused as was only planning to pay in £1500 and then withdraw. I might pay in £500 for 3 months. I have emailed them to ask how to meet the terms and conditions of the offer.
It also states that any one who has been a customer before does not qualify. I had an account with them several years ago so not sure whether that will impact me as well.
I will wait and see......0 -
