Just to say if anyone does need to ring customer services, you do know there is a landline number you can ring rather than the 0845 number. It is 0115 9182000. For me this is a free phone call because of the type of phone package I have.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0

Can I pass comment without sounding like the thread police please?
It's just there are alot of users hanging about this thread at the mo (look at how quickly this one is growing already yikes!) and I just wanted to remind people about thanking CPG in posts 1 and 2 if they so wish, it must be alot of work to keep up with all the new info and give us a nice shiny new thread on a regular basis.
Very much appreciated CPG3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time

Sorry for the questions but I brought a couple of PC vouchers of e-bay and one is free olay cleansing wipes, toner or face wash when you buy any Olay Total Effects moisturiser. Can I use this voucher with the Olay TE handcream at £4.97 (if I an find any!!) and use the skincare voucher or will it bleep because it is not facial skincare and the voucher does say 'not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount'.
Many thanks in advance.
Yes, you can use them together and the till doesn't beep.0 -

, had all disappeared today!! Grrrrrr. Oh well. No more TD points for me, just have to use the tillspits as they are. Spent almost £100 of points  on all sorts of perfumes.
CD Pure Poison edp 50ml £12
Chanel Allure soap £3.50
Hugo mens edt 40ml £4.50
Rive Gauche edt 100ml £14.13
Burberry Brit edt 30ml £6.25
YSL Baby Doll edt £7.xx
Stella edp 100ml £14.75

It promises to be a smelly Christmas. Didn't get the pink LaCoste for £11 or Dior Dune for £12 and left more Pure Poison on the shelf. But they were flying!!
Poundsinbucks x
Wow what great prices ! poundsinbucks which stores did you get these in (especially the Pure Poison and Dior Dune ?) Thanks0 -
Did you use 2 vouchers for the no7? i.e a pinky and till spit? as when doing that both vouchers take the £5 off as do not 'see' the other so you can end up in credit.researcher wrote: »Did some brilliant shops today in two stores - one new to me. Small but very, good.
But what I wanted to tell you was about one very strange transaction on the SS till at the first store. I don't know how or why it happened, but the till gave me back £2!!!!!!! Yes, not only did I get everything for free, but I got paid to take it away  There was TS shampoo, a TD, some No7 - and I'd used points coupons as well as spits.
TBH I wasn't very keen and I don't want it to happen again, so I'll have a good look tomorrow and try and work out why. Someone mentioned a glitch with the TS coupon this morning, but I didn't take much notice, anyone know any more?0 -

Its okay - its just out of my visits to boots, that good feeling you get from getting a bargain has just been outweighed on the last two occassions by poor customer service. Thats why I think I'll give it a miss for a wee while....it hasn't been fun the last couple of times, and if it isn't fun and the bargains are making me miserable, whats the point? Ya know?
But it certainly wasn't your fault, its boots faultAnd I hope boots HO do read this thread, hopefully then they'll understand how I feel x
I do know what you meanI had a bit of a Boots Break myself for a couple of months recently (different reasons to yours though - it was because I was skint and a little bit mortified at how much I was spending
) and it did me good...... I 'came back' with the firm mantra (for me) that it's only a bargain if I NEED it
Chin up hun and stay smilingYou can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Have noticed the new mag coupons haven't been listed on first page yet, moderators , would it help if I put them on here again or can you copy from my post in Boots grabbit 35, page 135?
**Oh, and just to say the mens looking good insert is between p.74 and 75 in my mag**
Moderators don't update the 1st post, CPG does - our lovely thread starter. She updates as and when she can, but wouldn't have updated before yesterday as the mags only officially came out then.
Please be patient and she'll update it when she has time :T0 -

Yes I did use both -now, looking at the receipt I see it's just as if I'd used a £5 note as it took the 99p balance owing off the TD and the 1p off the TS too, as well as giving me £2 change. However, I shan't do this again when using my advantage card and wouldn't advise anyone else to do so either.0
