    She said we could add some advantage points but won't as we think you should go back and challenge the SA....told her that wasn't possbile, but she said to just go to another store....that was that. I couldn't exactly demand points and I feel worse now than if I hadn't bothered :(


    ETA think I just got a rubbish CS person....as at first she said you can't get GWP when you pay with points :( Then she checked and you could......pah...I'm usless

    :eek: That's terrible surely you shlouldn't have to challenge the SA that would be awful for you especially if she's already been mean...whats the point in CS if they don't do anything? Surely they could have given you a 'goodwill gesture' for being soooooo devoted to Boots that you'd even shop there in another town.

    Don't feel sad, you never know you could get a lovely email later today from the one you sent yesterday :confused:

    Its just I think boots customer service skills are getting me down, I had all that fuss when I wasn't given my change, and I waited 2 days for the store to get back to me, then in the end I had to basically go into the store and demand it back, then ringing them today - I told her I felt too intimidated to go back and challenge the SA but she said oh well go to another store. I spend a lot of money in boots, and feel that if you are a loyal customer you should be treated as such.....its okay for some lady on the end of the phone to recommend to challenge an SA but the SA in question was intimidating enough without having to face her again...sorry to moan :o


    ETA: I think I will spend my pinkies and whities and then give boosting a miss for a while - these last few days has really put me off

    You have every right to moan (not that I think your moaning) I would write a full blown letter of complaint (because I'm scared of the phone after working in a call centre!) and list all the problems you've been having recently with the change, them not getting back to you, horrible SA and CS staff. Explain to them you spend lots of money with them but your seriously considering taking your custom else where :rolleyes: HTH

    Aww, MrsBB I'm so sorry it didn't go well for you on the phone and I feel a bit guilty for sort of forcing you to ring them :o I do think you were unlucky in the CS advisor you got on the phone though - whenever I've rung them they've fell over themselves to help and I feel really bad for you.

    Please, don't let it put you off Bootsing - we all have the misfortune of getting a stroppy SA or the glitch going tits-up now and again..... we mustn't let it put us off :) As CPG says on the first post - just try another SA on another day :)

    I definitely think you should go to another store soon and get your Lancome goodies and GWP with your points and if any SA dares to say you can't then you tell her you've spoken to CS who said it's absolutely acceptable and tell her to ring them there and then while you're stood there. Hopefully arm fulls of Lancome delights will cheer you up and get your Boots Mojo back for you :)

    Its not your fault hunni, and you didn't force me to ring, I'm a big girl and took it upon myself to ring them hoping they would sort something out :confused:

    Its okay - its just out of my visits to boots, that good feeling you get from getting a bargain has just been outweighed on the last two occassions by poor customer service. Thats why I think I'll give it a miss for a wee while....it hasn't been fun the last couple of times, and if it isn't fun and the bargains are making me miserable, whats the point? Ya know?

    But it certainly wasn't your fault, its boots fault :o And I hope boots HO do read this thread, hopefully then they'll understand how I feel x

    Just wondering if anyone was planning a trip to Merry [STRIKE]Hell[/STRIKE] Hill today and if so would they be able to report back on the bargains situation (toys/baby stuff/TB bags etc), I am considering a little journey after DH gets home. I do need to go to the supermarket, so what if I go to another town and visit Mr B at the same time? :rotfl:
