Count yourself lucky, because a store I went to Wednesday was out of pinkys, and that was that! They didn't have the no7 voucher as a till spit, or offer anything else in compensation (I was tempted to ask for a second skincare voucher, though of course they couldn't make the machine spit out two, lol).

Ah, but if you only bought 2 of them, then there's no harm in going back, with your receipt and asking if you can have another (free) item. You might have to return them and buy them again (with the 3rd item) but personally, I think it would be worth it. I hate to think I've missed out :rotfl:

It sounds like Boots is punishing customers for its own mistakes -- why oh why they can't just send out warning letters to give people a chance, I'll never know. I'm sure if Boots explained what exactly it is we're NOT supposed to do, and warned us it would be clamping down on anyone who continued the described activities after the warning, about 90 percent of card holders would follow those instructions! It would be easier for Boots and they wouldn't lose customers! Or better yet, they could just fix their system!

But anyone who has loads of points on their cards may want to do their Christmas shopping *now*, just to be on the safe side. Or go ahead and treat yourself to one of the nice gwps out there for Lancome, etc.
