    Hi Sagaris,

    I suffered from "neighbours from hell" for the past six years so I know what you are going through. I have just been released from *that* prison to a new decent home in another area and I really hope your situation will clear up quickly.

    Have you tried looking through http://www.neighboursfromhell.org.uk/ for more information? I used to frequent there when no other neighbours were helping me and when I was totally alone in the battle.

    I used to pass a house whose neighbours dealt with something like this by painting the word "wh%res" in great big letters across the front of the house. Not that you should follow suit, but apparently it did work, and would put pressure on the landlord.
    Been away for a while.

    Thanks moneypenny, I've just registered on there but as a Gmail user I have to be verified so it might take a few days. Will post on there too!

    It's all quiet next door so far - but then things don't get really noisy till after 11 - hopefully I'll be in bed by then, ready to be woken up. I wonder if my screaming fishwife impersonation would have any effect on their racket?

    They seem to understand 'enough' English - after all they rented the house in the first place! Just seem to lose their understanding when the police come to call!

    How do you know it was the neighbours? It might have been the residents advertising.
