Well it didnt book :-( guess I will have to keep trying!!!!0

Carlisle central has a lot of £9 availability - it's at the end of the Settle-Carlisle amazingly scenic railway line, that goes over the Ribblehead Viaduct. The travelodge is near the station. Carlisle looks like it's got great Christmas lights, a castle, shops and restaurants. Hadrian's Wall nearby, with walks.
I've never been before, so maybe I'm deluded!! Anyway, I've booked

There is the Gretna Outlet village not too far away too. I've passed it lots but never actually been. Got a couple of nights booked in the lakes so will be able to nip in and have a look on way home.0 -

Ive got through to the availability screen but its not showing the £9 rooms, just the £29 ones. Does this mean they've gone???

Does seem like the £29.00 is the only price, when you went in at the start did you use the £19.00 button to search, (book 21 days in advance link). xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Yep, went through on the £9 search part. Typical!!0

I think we have to realise how good even £30 is, especially if it is a family, school holidays and/or a particular holiday you were already looking at.
Travelodge certainly do meet the needs of a special market.0
